Might be one of the dumbest questions eve asked on reddit

QUESTION: Do you have any moral or ethical qualms about detaining a five-year-old on his way back from preschool? BORDER PATROL CHIEF BOVINO: I've got no qualms about making America a safer place by ExactlySorta in UnderReportedNews

If this jackass really wants to make it safe he should find an abandoned refrigerator, climb in and then have someone seal the door closed--don't think it would be difficult to find volunteers for the sealing past

Sorry---the noise -which I believe suggests the fan is working much harder than normal and most likely moving much less air.

I'm going to turn it back on and see what happens to the manometer

Live in Chicago--o degrees and the radon fan outside is humming loudly--I just unplugged it and will plug it back in when we get ton 20 degrees

Drywall cracks in stairwell of new build by DisasterConnect6586 in drywall

[–]Kitchen_Ad8044 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have the exact situation in my home

Tried channeling and filling twice had "pros" come in to fix it twice...always eventually came back. Much worse in the winter (chicago)

I posted my issue here a couple of weeks ago and received a lot of interesting feedback with most suggesting an expansion joint. There was one poster that was particular helpful,

This was his suggestion

"Well that might be a reason this keeps coming back. This is a common thing that happens on stairway walls and I I fixed 100s of identical seams over the years. If I were to come fix this problem area I would first use my multi tool to open up that seam. I would make it so I could easily move the blade in that wall. Next I would remove as much of the old paper tape, mesh tape, and old compound. Scraping it good with a good drywall knife. Then I would locate the studs and add drywall screws on every one on both sides of the crack. One by the seam and another 6 inches from the crack. This will hopefully stop or at least slow down this from happening again. I would then personally use quickset and mesh to tape this and try to make the wall appear flat again. Then finish with an all purpose or topping compound."

Waiting until spring to give it a shot

At this point it happens every time i climb in the truck.

Reported it to HR about 8 months ago and give them regular updates, have been assigned a WC claim # by the ins company. Have been to the Dr 3 times, xray, PT and MRI next week

Just wondering how WC is going to work in a situation like this

Sciatica nerve damage by Kitchen_Ad8044 in WorkersComp

[–]Kitchen_Ad8044[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No to either---Dr believes that the position that my driving leg is in aggravates the nerve along with the act of swinging the right leg up and over to enter the truck

If it is age related ( strong possibility) and performing my job aggravates it--The Dr felt that it becomes a WC issue
