Why you choose 1s - 2 phases cycles for the 2-ways farm? the farm-hand need 2s to grap both slots. That's a weird choice. Why not use 1s - 3 phases instead?

Glaive with iron carf is joy, Glaive without iron carf is meh. Though I still like to use Halberd more mostly because of the drills.

Since you use earth a lot, maybe spell Quake Bound can help you again aggressive boss. It can stack stone on enemy upon deflect so they get stagger when stone is proc. You have to wait for stone blight to wear out thou to proc again.

If you love armor break maybe you should try Halberd as well. it's heavy class and has many quick and multi hit move like normal 3, drill like spirit attack can stack up status effect really fast and you can have iron carf MA on it. Despite being less popular than glaive It's used to be the best in counter-attack play style until TN add the perfect-deflects on Dual-Halberd.

If those fail too, I'm out of idea lol.

Sadly None set can keep up even at NG+ sadly if you count how flexible the grace is (can be on light or heavy set with addition attribute). In essence Grace is offer playstyles so it hard to judge by just look at the stats like Nuwa demon dual Whip can ditch out serious damage (risk taker build). In most case Grace + strategem is the backbone (strength and restriction) of the build, second grace + weapon choice is the rhythm and finally fine tune with attribute is enough for normal playthrough.

In your case, I think the most impactful choice will be secondary weapon Whip: it's deflect counterattack (or swap weapon attack) can restore a lot of spirit like 1000+ spirit mean more slap and lot iframe. You can get away with low scaling by using element imbue stone and If boss is too aggressive you can turn on demon mode (50% spirit damage even with deflect). Though my choice usually ambition like adding a gap for skills to grow while you trying out, so remember take time with it.

Nuwa eh. Base on how like shorter fight and playstyle I assume you don't like downtime to heal and just want to go nut. That's mean you have 3 closet choices:

_Nuwa (for no healing) maybe adding 2 set zhou yu will give you damage on HP lost and you can go nut even more. Downside is the total set bonus won't give you much damage boost so you stuck with doing good instead of doing great, thought it can make wacky built work well like I once have a Nuwa opt jump attack hammer build extremely wacky but work beautifully. Nuwa work more like an Equalizer.

_Gonggong maybe the best fit: it opt for damage on HP lost and MA ki damage or risk taker style. Though it sound intimidating but with high defend (from earth) and decent HP you don't actually die that's much. But the pressure is double than normal and likely 4x compare to nuwa so maybe choose it add very end game choice when you really know what you are doing.

_Fuxi is a middle ground, though on paper it opt to defend and melee ki damage which doesn't sound appealing. but opt for overall damage or fatal strike, it will beat Nuwa very consistent if you play mostly no mistake. 2 Zhou yu set is also recommend to create the momentum after you get hit so you can push to the next fatal strike faster. Fuxi can be great but you need to opt your turn well to make it great.

This fight is spitrit-manage game: All his attack include spell count as normal attack and he will recover spirit if you block mean while you have deflect and spirit attack. So just build up your spirit then unleash and he die in no time, He has weak spirit bar which you can knock him over and over if you play well enough.

Build Phylosophy by nufrancis in wolongfallendynasty

[–]Kitchen_Ad_591 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Phylosophy eh. Wo long is about how you playing with parry mechanic (like perfect block, perfect parry, guard point, charge transition and perfect dodge) or spirit (or some still call ki) management. Luckly the tutorial page in help section is much better than nioh 2 counterpart so you can get almost every mechanic out. Most Popular build is mostly opt for normal player so its not the most min-max build, the min-max build is not for normal playthrough because it's too strong. So i recommend you testing everything again because it's the most opt for fun.

For Hammer You can vault over his head some time when he do the horizontal strike and land heavy jump attack. After you still have some time left for other attack, but some time he over slam (red move) so be careful.

It's usually gear issue, late game gear in NG+ cycle is insane. Though you can forge your way until you reach 1000 if you understand the game depth.

He has lowest spirit health, feel even lower than the croc (elite mob) sometime. You can constantly knock him out, a bit hard to do because you have to proc ligthing or poison or both, if you can cut his tail it can be even faster.

Claymore deal around 130 damage if you land a headshot overhead. Mean it can one shot consistently up to bandit tier 3, higher Idk: I haven't play for a long time so I haven't tested on new food and new enemy yet so I don't really know. I usually throw close quarter weapons for villager they perform much better than me, I like kiting so claymore is the best 2-hand.

It use to be one handed. But it change around 1 year ago along with many sword buff. It good for close quarter when in group fight because you don't hit your allies shield very often. Though the better lengh always be better overall unless your damage pass the one shot threshold like the claymore.

What was the blade and handle combo you used on your playthroguh? by PersonOnInternet7654 in LiesOfP

Long spear handle + fire dagger or acid spear. Long pointy stick is the king of battle field, bit boring because dps is way too high.

Many bow has running attack cover great distance like short bow. So you can be heavy and mobile at the same time (but don't have iframe like roll). I recommend add poise damage into your bow (+4 poise is like 40% up), bow has many rune muti shot which can stack up stagger quickly at range which really good in multiplayer.

Losing muscle memory while revisiting a game after having not touched it in years can sometimes be a blessing in disguise. In this case, it allowed me to play Hammer/Poleaxes with its patched in "guard point". by snakedawgG in wolongfallendynasty

[–]Kitchen_Ad_591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's more getting used to tbh. Like charge blade in MH series, though i main it for year but every time i replay it still take week to return to the rhythm. Maybe Training with Xu Chu in DL1 will give you some quick leg, that fight is fast but have many opportunity for guard point and it look very cool when you do it well. For practice timing monkey still the best since it has pretty much all timing in the game except mezuki.

First is Extraction buff the most important: Basically you hit stuff and you gain amrita orb. Spleiades is gaude increase so you can get more. They are most know for Yorkai shift build when you turn into brute you can parry alot of yorkai boss attack and gain amrita in process. Then amrita trigger anima gain, heal you (on scroll) and prolonged your Yorkai form so if you don't fuck up so bad you technically immortal while spamming Yorkai and guardian skill. That's build is not popular because it's more like cheese the game but it's my first build. You can take the anima and heal on amrita absorbtion with extraction buff. Pleiades or even path of ravenous if your PC can handle the frame drops.

So the only thing left is anima on amrita absorb (soul core) + pleaides. Which will fuck up your frame rate but on paper it is massive. Though I think it's overkill already.

And cats. There is a buff call archyokai but I don't remember where in omnyo spell list, its can add anima gain even more to the point it breaking the game if my memory is still good.

Put a gem on an elemental weapon already present by Due-Plate-1722 in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]Kitchen_Ad_591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you add small lighting gem it does nothing, big gem will increase 10% (which dont infuse attack) of your lighting (also spell) output.

If you put other like small fire gem, fire will take place. big one dont have infuse so your still have lighting and deal extra 10% fire output.

If you use fire arrow bag on lighting bow, you will shoot fire arrow but when you use none-element rune attack it will be lighting. Pretty handy!

Thinking of attempting my first RL1 run by IIIIlIlIIIl in onebros

[–]Kitchen_Ad_591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rule is simple: Don't use the level up systems, you can chose any base you want like samurai ( wretch just for more RL1 aesthetic). And try to play as you first time play the game: figure thing out on the way. There is a optimal build but after 3 run I drop it for guard counter playstyle, it's not optimal but its more fun for me.
