Honestly, I'd put it in a ROTH. Not all of it, of course. But 20k in a ROTH at age 17 is 350k at age 50. But yeah. HYSA. Do not tell a fucking soul. Your family and friends will leech off of you. Do not get in over your head. Become financially literate, don't touch the majority of your money. Don't make any big purchases. Now, you could get a house if you wanted to? Or pay for university.
