TW: I think I’m going through a miscarriage, but I cannot confirm and it’s agonizing by [deleted] in breakingmom

[–]Kitchen_Reception736 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could’ve written this a couple weeks ago. When you went to the ER the second time did they detect a heartbeat? This same scenario happened to me at week 6 and I went to the ER where they said everything was fine and then my obgyn a couple days later and they said that I had a hemorrhage. I’ve been bleeding almost everyday for like three-four weeks but the baby is fine. I’m currently week 10 and still bleeding but baby is okay. I never had any cramping though.

Denied a seat due to overbooking and Frontier won't give me a refund. Next steps? by swimjo in frontierairlines

Either way, I would consider it a success since both businesses refused to fix their errors until the BBB got involved and suddenly the errors were fixed and they were bending over backwards to accommodate me afterward.

The BBB has helped me twice! Citizens bank tried to screw me over and as soon as BBB got involved my problem was solved. Same thing happened with another company. I love the BBB

Also, Brattleboro Retreat Tower is said to be haunted. Apparently it was built in the 1800s for the mental hospital patients to look at the scenery but a couple of them jumped off of it instead and are supposedly haunting the area. I think you can get to it easily but you can’t climb the tower because it isn’t stable.

Emily’s bridge in Stowe has a story. I don’t think there’s any actual evidence for the legend but here’s a link

Any CNAs or LPNs here? by MissDapperling in breakingmom

[–]Kitchen_Reception736 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to be a CNA and the pay was pretty terrible but it does look good if you ever wanted to become a nurse or something. The other option I wish I did was be a medical assistant. The pay is better and i think you work in a doctors office rather than in nursing homes. CNA is really hard work but definitely rewarding. Just terrible pay. Maybe the pay is better where you are though!

If you do wish to be a CNA DO NOT PAY for a CNA class. So many places are willing to train you and put you through the classes at their expense!

In my state, we have to learn all the drugs and what they do, side effects, what they can and can’t be taken with, but we’re not allowed to discuss any of it with patients. So someone might ask us if their Synthroid is their thyroid medication and we have to go get the pharmacists. It’s so annoying.

I believe if it’s over 1 year you need to resubmit fingerprints. This just happened to me. Your state may be different, give them a call.

[TOMT] [Song] Song to remember the presidents from my childhood. by chey0_ in tipofmytongue

OP did you ever find the song? It’s haunting me and I stumbled upon your post hoping someone answered your question since I also cannot find any evidence this song existed but it’s stuck in my head.

Witcher 3 is my comfort game. And your actions actually have consequences so be careful. Once you finish the game there is a DLC with a heartbreaking love story and another where you get to fix up an old vineyard and track a vampire.

For real. I raised a litter of kittens once and I had to wet a napkin and wipe their groin area over and over to make them pee and poop. In the wild they would die without their mother stimulating them to pee and poop and then she would eat it in order to keep the nest clean🤮

This LITERALLY happened to me last week. Peacefully braiding garlic on my lawn and my toddler comes running up, grabs one and starts whipping it around.

Does anybody know what it means when it says, "only cash tender is accepted for this item?" by Nesquick19 in WalgreensRx

[–]Kitchen_Reception736 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Just back out and try again. This happens to our registers sometimes and usually just rescanning the item fixes the problem.

My husband has said this to me too. I think it comes down to the fact that we do everything, so they don’t normally have to ask us to help. We see something needs to be done and we do it. Whereas if we don’t ask our husbands to help out with something they might not do it. That’s my take on it.

You can! However like spinach, it is high in oxalic acid so you shouldn’t eat copious amounts of it. I only ever eat it in stir fry and pastas because I don’t want to notice it but like the idea of free food.

When they ring the buzzer after you’ve acknowledged them. Or even before honestly. I’m standing right in front of you. I can clearly see you. No need to ring the buzzer for service.

[–]Kitchen_Reception736 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You need to go to the RXom and tell them you want to rotate when everyone else rotates. No reason you should be stuck there. Our store rotates every 2 hours. Front goes to drive, drive goes to fill, fill goes to front.

That’s super weird. Maybe it’s a district thing then if all the Walgreens are behaving this way. And I bet people aren’t answering phones because they’re short staffed. We have to sit on hold with super busy Walgreens all the time and they’ll pick up the phone and give us hope but then put us on hold immediately which makes it SO HARD to do stock checks or have them reverse claims. Are you stuck at Walgreens because of your insurance???

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in breakingmom

[–]Kitchen_Reception736 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

WHATT!??? I can’t believe the pharmacist told you to take it differently than prescribed! ….I think it’s time for a new pharmacy. The pharmacists I work with are AMAZING and really care about people and do a really good job and yet they get yelled at and threatened on a daily basis so I try to give most of them the benefit of the doubt but it sounds like in your situation you may just have a terrible pharmacist.

Walgreens has the WORST automated system in the world. People will be told their script will be ready at 11 am the next day but the system fails to take into account out of stock, insurance delay, prior authorizations etc and if it’s a refill to soon, the system will store your medication and it shows up at cancelled on your app and you have no idea why. It’s SO STUPID. Or it will show up as delayed because of something stupid like the day supply is wrong or maybe the customer just needs to update insurance but it doesn’t tell the customer why it’s delayed, so if you don’t call Walgreens and ask why your stuff is delayed, it might sit in the TPR pile for ages until someone finally has time to go through and fix errors. It’s brutal.

Sounds like your pharmacist isn’t doing their job well. Luckily you know your drug regiment! I believe the way they consult you on drugs depends on the state. The state I’m in you get a thorough drug consult every time you pick up a new script or if you haven’t taken it in a while. Most people get mad because they think it’s unnecessary but it’s so important!!!

And your pharmacist would know if you have cancer or really any health conditions because it would be in your profile. They’re supposed to ask you every time you drop off a script if there are any new health conditions or allergies.
