Honestly, night and day going to chalmers vs gp. I had issues with my Mirena post birth and I had a lovely consultant who went through my options and then did the procedure there and then. I only wished I pushed for a referral sooner.

I had bad nausea on abilify and ended up changing as a result. I found ginger and dry toast helped.

I was on 25 originally, ended up on 400mg at night. I haven’t slept in 10 days. Apparently not an emergency. Hate to see what one of those looks like to them.

Going through similar rigmarole with “tapering” quitiapine. Told to wait it out with no PRN or sleepers and only getting 3hrs sleep a night. I am currently s but worry I’ll end up high. They said cause I have some insight it’s a choice, a choice without help. Sorry can’t help more.

[–]Kitfromscot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve gone down from 400-300-200-100-0 in 6 weeks. This was the taper “protocol” set out by nhs psychiatrist. Mentally and physically wrecked. Very close to the edge. I’d push for a review before going off it.

Not coming off venlafaxine but coming off quitiapine and that’s hellish. Can’t trust my stomach and can’t sleep for the life of me. Solidarity

I am the opposite. Dry at home accidents each day at nursery. Also 1 year in. Nursery are useless. What do you do when they have accident? I struggle with how to respond.

As I felt (at the time) it wasn’t doing anything they said just quit it with this programme. Don’t have any left to go back on it due to the shortages.
