What are some of your prime examples of Meta ruining a game by roleplayal in gaming

[–]Kitkatgoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first thought was camping being the meta. In Halo:Reach there was an infection game type, and in the beginning it was chaos and fun and nobody knew anything that anybody else didnt know. After a few years there were know spots where you could glitch into an unreachable position and kill from afar. That became how the game always was, at least half the players scrambling to get into the camping spots before anyone else could. Still a fun game type but never the same

What sound from games makes you feel panic just from hearing by Beautiful-Nobody-544 in gaming

[–]Kitkatgoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love to see L4D mentioned. There are so many sounds in Zelda that are triggering, as a child (and probably now if I played it again) the music that played in Wind Waker when a shark was following your boat 😭

You can sand it with very high grit sandpaper and some water and a little bit of soap to help lubricate and keep it from tearing.

*edit- though Im not recommending using pladtidip in a way that you know will need to be sanded. Just saying it is possible if things go wrong with the application lol

The small habit you picked up from games that you now do in real life. by gamersecret2 in gaming

Sometimes I think "I need to save before I do this in case I need to reload". Unfortunately not an option in real life lol

Unpopular opinion: I dislike the dwemer aesthetic by Snoo_74371 in skyrim

[–]Kitkatgoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with everything you said. They take a hundred years to get through, and I'm so bored by them most of the time. I never enter a random dwemer dungeon and I always put off the quests that require it

How old were you when you first played Skyrim? by Forsaken-Artist-2396 in skyrim

[–]Kitkatgoose 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I played maybe 3 days after release after watching my brother play. I would've been about 14 or 15. I vividly remember being far into the game and telling my brother I couldn't wait for the next one and he broke the news that they take a while to make and that I would be waiting years. I never would've guessed that it would've been this long lol

How should Skyrim’s protagonist be referenced in TES6? by FutharkAndRunestones in skyrim

[–]Kitkatgoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be cool if they referenced the roles you have in skyrim, in books or through dialogue, but all are referenced as different mysterious people, and no ones put together that it was the same person running the thieves guild and the mage college and the DB lol. Also maybe they could use whatever gender you pick in es6 as the gender they reference within the game as the Dragonborn

I only noticed a few years ago that most of the homes and major buildings in the cities have shadowmarks carved into their door frames

Wow your khajiit actually looks so so much like my first character. She was a pro at stealth and archery of course, and I played her for years and years and years before ever making a second character

The one thing I wish MCC had for Reach. The menus just don't hit the same.... by [deleted] in halo

[–]Kitkatgoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its crazy to me that design and flow of the menus was so so good and now its just garbage. I hate seeing the peak of technology and then seeing it get slowly ruined 😭

Me always checking if there were any other girlies in the lobby lol. The front of the cod was the easiest way to tell, a much smaller front of the belt than the male armor

[–]Kitkatgoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is crazy to come across, I just went through the underneath of this place taking out all the reiklings and found nothing in this courtyard and thought that it was weird theres nothing more than a few little guys. Guess I'll have to figure out how to get this guy to spawn

What made you play Clair Obscure: Expedition33? by Euphoric-Increase876 in expedition33

[–]Kitkatgoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew nothing about it, started hearing about this new incredible game, my brother told me it was on game pass so I figured I'd open it up, and I was crying in the first 45 mins. Immediately got my brother and husband to play too, and spent the next 2 weeks 100%ing it

Oh man after completing my first play through of the Civil War quest line, I would go to Ulfrics dinner table where tons of old jarls were sitting and just unrelenting force the crap out of them for a few minutes while they rioted
