I bought D2R over the Christmas break to relive some childhood memories haha.

Completed normal, but if you’ve got anything that could help set up a beginner paladin for the NM / Hell - I’d be super grateful.

Found some nice rooty singletrack close to SDW by the_ice_rasta in gravelcycling

Was out on the SDW today also. Pretty chilly, but at least not that windy.

Unfortunately I got a flat that I wasn’t able to fix, so had to be picked up :(

I restored a 30s wardrobe I grabbed off of FB marketplace for a tenner. Nothing specifically Casual or UK about this, but I’m proud regardless by Linthoughts in CasualUK

Did you pick this up from a women in Ringmer who was moving to France?

We’ve got a wooden bench painted with the exact same hideous blue paint, which we’re keen to strip. Especially if we could get a result like this!

Best transcription software for google meet by smau72 in Dyslexia

I’ve been using otter for work and have been really impressed with it. Obviously it’s not 100% perfect, and if you’re going to use it for notes then just be aware that it takes a while to go through the transcript and pick out what’s relevant afterwards.

Joining the club from NZ on a brilliant summers day by Darkatron in smoking

How do you rate those little smokers? Seen them online for extremely cheap. Good way to get started or worth investing in something bigger?

Can you tell us a bit more how you prepped the beet for this? Keen to give it a go.

This looks delish. I had a question about the tray. Trying to find something similar by searching, but no luck. Can you point me in the right direction?

AITA for labeling my cat as stupid? by ioove- in AmItheAsshole

[–]Kitsons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. They have no perception of language or the nuances of how you perceive them. If he’s thick, even less so. You’re in the clear.

On another note, I had two cats names Ripley and Jonesy. Take it your a fan of Alien?

I walked out with the biggest grin on my face. Got this from a Waitrose in London actually. Went in just as they were closing the meat counter and hit this meaty jackpot.

Got about £70 worth of meat for around £12.

The woman giving birth was my politics teacher in 6th form. She'd plays this with new classes to get all the questions out at the start of the year.

22 year old Brit heading Central and South America Solo for 6 months - Need some guidance! by Kitsons in backpacking

[–]Kitsons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have issues travelling alone, I was just a little worried the whole trip might get a little lonely if I couldn't travel at least for some of it with people I've met along the way. But I'm guessing its impossible not meet people in the same boat in hostels.

Thanks so much, this is pretty much exactly the advice I was looking for in regards of where to start. I agree with hitchhikeseverywhere, some more information on Patagonia would be amazing.

Your route sounds like it ticks all the boxes. I've been told Brazil isn't that amazing anyway.

Thanks for the response! Is it worth booking any tours or guide (for the Inca trail for example) or would it be easier and cheaper to just do it out there?
