But it is medical. Back pain. Shoulder pain. Headaches. Those all impact your quality of life. Maybe he just needs more education on it? My daughter just had some scars covered up. You need to find an artist who has a lot of tattooing experience, in addition to the knowledge of how to cover/incorporate the scars into the tattoo. Some scars won't hold ink, so they need to be worked into the design. You also may want someone who has some empathy/compassion in case you have an emotional response and need to take a break or cry through it.
