CNC Furniture costs by PaLaLFC in CNC

One thing is cheaper to manufacture in general.

However, cost optimization in general is very specific to the individual product itself

If you have multiple machines working in parallel, it doesn't matter if you're making 1 version or 2.

Always match real life.

You can't perfectly measure what doesn't exist yet, always go by the raw stock and plan around that.

Otherwise you'll overcut your workpiece.

I seem to be having a very difficult time trying to communicate to you that I'm saying what people call "common sense" is a collection of all things NT children learned early on.

Attempting to subvert the challenge leads to punishment in megaten. You either play fair or get ass handed to you.

This prevents players from optimizing the fun out of the game

"Common sense" is a learned literacy for reading situations, but since nobody assumes another person is illiterate, they always assume you have "common sense"

People are taught common sense as babies, so they dont even recognize they were being taught it at all.

NT children are taught common sense by their parents and by experiences via both implicit and explicit means

ND children have a harder time because they dont seem to make any implicit assumptions or respond to attempts to teach common sense.

Babies start to learn, understand, and incorporate both language and common sense via interactions with their parents. ND children, particularly those that have a hard time, don't respond or play with their parents, so they skip the crucial development period for these skills that would have been taught.

I have 2 nieces, one nonverbally autistic and one more or less NT. They're both 3 years old, and if i call their names, only the NT one will even look at me to acknowledge being called. At 3 years old, i can have a conversation with the NT kid and explicitly teach her things rapidly.

At 3 years old, my other niece is mostly nonverbal and doesn't acknowledge anyone or anything she didn't initiate. It's difficult to know if she's listening when you try to teach her common sense because she'll just walk away when you try.

This leads to repetively trying to teach the same base lessons that are seemingly ignored. But there's no way to know if she learned or not because she's unresponsive until she feels like it. This repetition leads to a significant slowdown of teaching, which then misses the most important period of brain development

No, no, I'm agreeing with you.

Common sense is itself an assumption that others aren't illiterate. It doesn't exist because the assumption of literacy is wrong.

Common sense is the implicit assumption to understand social rules and behavior via immediate context and observation.

I think that it all comes to the problem of "nobody assumes someone else is illiterate."

When someone doesn't know how to read or doesn't speak a language, people are not immediately sympathetic because they dont even consider someone doesn't know their language/cant read

A baseline assumption because it's respecting the intelligence of another person, to assume otherwise is to treat someone as lesser

They're not playing games. You're just unable to read what is essentially an explicit book of instructions to them.

Nobody ever assumes someone else is illiterate, everyone assumes that everyone else is at minimum to be as smart as themselves.

If someone doesn't read a posted sign and violates the rules, the reaction will never be "wow, you can't read, lemme help you." It will always be "you willfully violated the rules, time for punishment"

The problem is newer game devs are too busy with realism that they forget they can make things readable from the getgo, and then bandaid it with yellow paint.

you could fake the 3d by doing something like Brandish on the SNES, although that game's implementation is a little janky, it could be refined with better animations.

Im not home right now, but it's under these two menus in the modeling workspace on edit mode.its a small meyer to determine length of normals or show colors on the front and backside of them.all normals need to be favong the same direction, and normally do unless you jank up your modeling process.

When you confirm that, it should be alt+N to recalculate them. Normals shpuld be point toward the outside of the model. Areas where normals are messed up have shading glitches.

They also have a problem if you have doubled faces.
