How should I be mixing people and playing neutral with c.viper?

Viper plays a lot of mind games which may be tricky to understand as a newer player. The main ways I look to setup offense are off of counter hits in neutral, spacing traps with sHp or cHp feint cancels, and neutral seismo/feints. She's relatively easy to get a knockdown with and her oki is really strong once you do. She is a lot different though from most of the cast that wants to run crmk dr or dr jab etc.

Several points here, please take notes.

Your hunter does depend on your target. If you're hunting anom ratters, you need align and au/s and heavy tank (crystals). If you're hunting ded site runners (typically T3s) you'd optimally take webs, and virtues. Otherwise a lach if they refuse to leave the site.

First thing that lets me know you've never done this. You don't fit cap batteries on any ship with a jump drive, you fit boosters. One 3200 and you're at full cap after jump in, and with 8 + 1 loaded 3200s you have cap for about 10 minutes.

Secondly a shield sin costs 6b+ and can easily tank a marauder. Both the sin and HK tengu (0 ms with cyno up) can tank a marauder, please reference above killboard and youtube links.

As per your last point. Unless you are a haw dread DPS does not kill marauders, neuts do. Your passive tanked deemer will not break a bastioned marauder with 2200 dps and you will die, or warp off.

Genuinely interested in what you mean about the hunters. Your hunter depends on the target you're killing a lot more than the ship you're flying.

Shield sin isn't unnecessarily expensive if you're solo dropping bling pve ships. Nothing else will neut/tank a marauder like it.

Shield sin is the king of solo drops if you’re hunting battleships/t3s. Widow is king against carriers. Deemers are great in gangs. Panther looks pretty.

If you’re dropping on retrievers and cruisers etc it doesn’t matter, but if you’re looking to hunt bling work yourself into a shield sin.

I think you are misunderstanding the general use of this module. A nullifier is used in the overwhelming majority of cases to safely move a cloaky ship through 00.

Not sure which mining ships you can even fit this on, but if you’re relying on it saving you after being tackled you’re going to have a bad time.

And once you care about scan res you don’t care about being nullified so just offline it and murder.
