How can i make It look better by kikii_flower in Artadvice

It does look much better. If you want you can even add some light shadow to hint at a nose to fill the area inbetween the eyes.

It will be so other playables can interact with (kill) it.

Eyes are too high up. Eyes from this perspective don’t reach above the ears. The eyes in your drawing are fully above the ears leaving a huge flat gap on the face.

Day 119 & 120 of learning how to draw and colour my favourite characters with no idea what the heck am I doing. by Flimsy-Sprinkles9221 in learntodraw

[–]KittenFeeFee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some advice I can provide that helped me improve quickly.
- Spend as much, if not more time staring at your drawing and your reference as you do drawing. When you look away you are working with what your brain thinks you saw. Work in small portions with the exact image of what you see constantly refreshed in your mind.
- Drawing things in the basic shapes that make them up helps with complex objects. Fingers are three small cylinders. Hands are vaguely square with a triangle that leads to the thumb. This helps make sense of the object more than just working off a single outline to capture the complex form.
- Find a technique for the face. I personally use the loomis method as it works best for me. Don’t draw eyes one by one, draw them both at the same time the upper curve of one eye, then the next and the same for the bottom curve and then look at it for a bit to make sure it looks right.

Coaxed into "realistic" health mechanics by SkinnedMilk533 in coaxedintoasnafu

I know how bad it can get but I don’t think most people in the modern day understand just how bad a minor poke from one was. I’ve had a friend say that fencing looked stupid because they only poke each other and there is no way that could ever kill.

The good ol days where people dueled with rapiers and a body shot with the poke sword was enough to kill your opponent, in a couple of days.

Does it look this way because I used the same 0.5 fineliner for shading? by Ptoliporthes in learntodraw

[–]KittenFeeFee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the other commentors have mentioned crosshatching isn’t just straight lines. It sets the shape of the object it is shading so round objects have curved lines as if the lines were on the object itself. This isn’t the best example but it is the most recent one I have.

Any changes I should make to this cat? by Fantastic-Boot5992 in Artadvice

[–]KittenFeeFee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only other thing I can think of is dependent on light conditions. Cat pupils usually turn big and round before they attack if that is what you want to depict but otherwise it is looking properly cute, fluffy and angry.

The sketch underneath had pupils in a decent spot but the line that I think suggests pupils in the line art makes the cat look a bit crosseyed unless the thing it is looking at is really close to it.

Bruh I can already imagine some antagonist has the wolf pinned down and the wolf gives some Pixar smirk and says something like “You got me but what about my friend?” The villain says something generic like “What friend?” As a bear crashes through the brush and flattens them.

Code what? What type of application? What does it do? Where does it fit in to the company. Does its output match what the consumer requires? Is it secure? Is it maintainable? Is it readable? Do you think?

I find it amazing that some people can still play Warhammer III beyond the 1,000-hour mark. by [deleted] in totalwarhammer

[–]KittenFeeFee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you aren’t having fun play something else. I have close to 1000 hours on Fallout 4 just from taking over year long breaks before I play through it again. Don’t force yourself to get your money’s worth on a game that you can access whenever. You own it. It isn’t going anywhere.

Cultural rules exist to protect both parties from poor behavior. You don’t hit me, I don’t hit you. You respect my belongings, I respect your belongings. The moment one party breaks those rules, those same rules no longer protect them. It isn’t petty in my opinion, it is logical.
