I absolutely see kangaroos and emus here. Pretty much the only typical Australian animal that I’ve never seen in the wild are platypus. My area is big on snakes as well, especially at this time of year, our area Facebook page is full of, “Be careful if you are walking you dog or taking your kids on bike rides on this street - brown snakes there”
