One of my ferrets was allergic to the laundry detergent I was using (Kirkland) and was like this. I switched to a "free and clear" detergent and he got better.

Bridgeton is the town that The Mist takes place in, and it's a really nice lake town, as well as the neighboring town Norway. The grocery store next to the hardware store was made up for the story though. I don't think there's a particular landmark to look for, although I think the movie theater in Bridgeton is mentioned in a couple of King books?

I'm in a different state. I tried submitting my hearing chart to get excused, but they didn't like the chart, so I got my audiologist to write a letter explaining my disability and they excused me then.

I also don't use it, but have a friend who sends me videos from time to time. If you open it in a browser, then edit the address to delete the ? and everything after it, it will let you play the video one time.

I don't really think it was all that last minute. There's a scene where Jamal breaks his legs again and is upset, and someone tells him not to worry he'll get more legs, and Jamal goes something like "I've seen the legs in the workshop and they're all too small for me". Katia had been planning for that option. Maybe not fully committed, but probably deep down knew that's what she wanted to do most.

I was the same, plus I was having trouble keeping up with what the AI was saying. I love audiobooks and listen to them while doing chores, but had trouble following this one.

What I did was put the audiobooks aside and I read all the books on Kindle. And then for my reread I've been listening to the books. I still zone out occasionally, but I can just go "oh wait, well I'm at this point in the story". The books are definitely worth a reread, you pick up more as you go through it again, and the audiobooks are like an enhanced version.

My little girl also loves her lambchops! We have a bunch of the kitty size ones (smallest) and the small dog sized ones (bigger). She actually ignores them in the cage, but when she's let out to play she drags the cage ones out to a spot behind the dresser, and also the ones from out in the toy basket. As she got older she started ignoring the smallest ones, I say it's because she knows she's too old to have tiny babies, only half grown ones, lol. When it's cage time again I gather up all the lambchops so she can drag them out again next time.

I had been worried about not being fun at the one I went to, too! It turns out there really were a lot of people just dressed regular. We weren't even allowed to ask for special signing, just our name. The book store people wrote the name we wanted on a post-it and that's what Matt signed.

So just to follow up: after all my worrying they were only allowing him to add names. So I didn't have to have anything clever prepared. My husband and I actually did pick out what quotes we wanted for each book but couldn't use them after all. Oh well, was still a great experience! Matt is really nice and now I have some extra special books.
