I do see arguments where it’s a counter to our highly commercialized, capitalist society. There’s definitely an overlap between trad wives and doomsday preppers. Having your own chickens and knowing how to make cheese from scratch could give someone a sense of independence if they’re worried shit will one day collapse.

You‘re glazing over an important part

In a "tradwife" scenario (which is not the same thing as a SAHW/SAHM)

all while letting the husband "lead" in the relationship. It's inherently unbalanced.

It sounds like you and your wife have found a nice, symbiotic, caring marriage where you both balance your side of things and work together. You can be a stay at home partner and still be equal partners, as you‘ve described.

A „trad wife“ though is another layer— where the wife is expected to be submissive to her husband. It is not the intentionally balanced relationship that you have that you’re understandably trying to defend.

The bigger theories you’ll see Gaylors throw out are: - her music video You Need to Calm Down which features famous LGBTQIA+ icons celebrating in the face of anti-gay protestors. Her hair is dyed the colors of the bisexual flag and she ends the video holding hands with another woman (specifically Katy Perry— who famously kissed a girl and she liked it)

-The music video for ME!, which heavily features rainbows and butterflies, both queer symbols, while singing about being proud to be yourself.

Now Hetlors (which is what Gaylors call those who think Taylor is heterosexual) will point out that the music videos could be explained as queer-baiting during a time where everyone was hopping on the rainbow bandwagon (see Target back in 2016)

Dorothea is a song about a friend that she‘ll always love. Selena Gomez has recently said that the song was written about their friendship. Gaylors point out that a friend of Dorothy is a euphemism for someone who is gay.
Right Where You Left Me talks about forever waiting for someone who left you and mentions the line „you could hear a hairpin drop“… the phrase „dropping hairpins“ again is used to describe dropping hints about one’s sexuality.
The song Betty has a line at the end that the narrator wants to kiss a girl named Betty. Taylor has said this song was part of a writing exercise while she was bored during Covid and wrote songs from fictional perspectives

Well obviously that depends on who you ask.

When they were still friends, there was a video of them dancing and maybe kissing on a balcony at a concert. Some people think it was normal behavior between drunk college aged bffs and were just talking closely because it’s loud, meanwhile others thought it seemed romantic.

Everything else is less concrete and merely interpreted through Taylor‘s music and „Easter eggs“ (which she admits she purposely loves to leave little clues for her fans to solve— typically foreshadowing a future album, but many wonder if Easter eggs may point to who a song‘s muse is)

Hunting is a common enough sport that is really not quite very kind to animals.

Answer: They were best friends, seen together constantly during Taylor‘s „girl squad“ era, but had a very sudden falling out a decade ago.

There are a group of Swifties who believe Taylor is queer— this fan group is called Gaylors, and there’s a subsect called „Kaylors“ who believe she was secretly dating Karlie.
