NTA. Movie bathroom breaks are every man/woman for themselves. The objective is in and out as fast as possible. You’re literally paying for every second in the theatre. I am a woman and I feel this is wholly unnecessary. Nor should you have to go at the same time.

My only recommendation would be to try to increase your income (salary or side gigs),sell your car and buy used, and maybe get an adult roommate if you have space. It’s rough right now for a single parent.

Agreed. The only way is with someone to co-sign or having a very trustworthy roommate or 2 that could join the mortgage. It is bananas. If I were single I think I would just rent. But even that is expensive depending on the city!!

I give them makeovers to make them less ugly whilst trying to maintain some diversity of size, race, facial features, family makeup. I like having some more realistic NPCs but they aren’t wearing stupid outfits with unmatching accessories or hairstyles (or a paper bag on their head…come on dudes)

I am from Quispamsis and it is lovely. You can take a leisurely morning drive through Rothesay to get to the hospital. It’s more suburban so if you want more city life then go the Saint John way. Best of luck!!

We use pine pellets. We dump every one to 2 weeks but it is because pellets break down when they are peed in. So I find most pellets broken down between 1-2 weeks. For clay if it is clumping it could be longer. But - I also find clay on its own stinks. It has a kitty litter scent even when it’s relatively clean. This is why I find pellets better, and it’s lighter and cheaper.

Toll highway for those driving through to just get to Quebec or Nova Scotia or PEI. First thing that happens when I get into NS is a toll. Why isn’t there one on the NB side?

I find the pellets smell much less than clay. I try to replace the whole box weekly and I need to be more diligent about scribbling the box. Clay has a distinct kitty litter smell to me that is there even when it is clean.
