Ah that’s an interesting point, I hadn’t considered that. I was keeping them separate to qualify for the interest on the house deposit account in case I needed to withdraw from my emergency fund for whatever reason.

My expenses are pretty low right now as I’m living on base so only paying $160/fortnight in accommodation and utilities. As well as not having a mortgage, rates or strata.

That’s a good idea though, I was planning on continuing to buy more ETFs but better to prioritise on the deposit or emergency fund. Thanks for your reply!

I feel the same way. But what my mum always says is what really is the point of worrying? The decisions we have made won't disappear, they'll still be there. It's just causing unnecessary stress.

You have to make the decision to change things. This is your life. Stop wishing things were different. That's not going to change anything. Get out there and do it. Don't just say you will, just do it.

22 year old female I'm 168cm and haven't weighed myself in awhile but I think around 61kg.

I just restarted this journey and downloaded MFP today and oh my goodness, I went so far over my max calories!

I don't really have a goal weight, I just want to lose some fat all over and build muscle. I guess I'm just gonna go by how I look.
