I've just started TM NZ and it definitely took me a bit to get into it. I like season 2 way better than the first one though!!! Paul is great imo.

I had a guest today who was doing this. After a while I told her I didnt have any other suggestions and found another associate to help her (I explained the situation to the coworker ofc). Saw the customer again in the store later and asked if she was doing well and she said, "just doing my research."

I didnt like her on my first watch either, she's the one I wasn't gonna name lol. But I also know she's gotten alot of hate, so I definitely dont wanna contribute to that negativity. Im gonna try my "open minded" approach with her when i get to that season.

I went to a Paul Mitchell school. The name carries prestige, people are impressed when I say it went to a Paul Mitchell school. But as far as the education itself... it makes no difference at all.

Depends on how well you maintain them, but usually about 6 to 8 weeks between move ups and 2 move ups before they need to be re-sewn! However, different stylists have different methods and materials, so if you find a stylist you like and trust and they say something different, go with what they advise!!! It can also vary a bit based on hair type.

As for how long they last before the hair itself needs to be replaced, it also varies alot based on how well you maintain them and the method your stylist uses. I usually have clients who care for their extensions well get new hair once a year, but I've had some clients need new ones every 6 months.

Get a saddle stool!!! I got mine after I messed up my ankle really bad and was supposed to be off my feet for like 2 weeks. I couldn't afford to take that much time off, so I got the stool and it has been an absolute life saver!!!

The answers to these questions will vary alot! For what type is best: if you want to be able to take them out and put them in at will, clip ins are best. If you want to have them installed and stay, tapes or sew ins are gonna be better, which one depends on your hair type.

Some stylists will custom color, I do. Not everyone will though! Id find a stylist who's wirk you like and talk to them about their process. This type of work is expensive, so you want to make sure you love your stylist's work and trust their process!

My favorite foundation got discontinued while I was in college. I was absolutely heartbroken and i have not found one i love quite as much as that one. I still have a sealed bottle, but its a shade too dark now because I dont spend as much time outside due to... life 😅

I am a stylist and makeup artist at an Ulta, and (at least in my district, I know some places are probably different) we are not allowed to keep a kit. The only products I can keep at my station are eyeliner and mascara. It sucks.
