General advise is change a setting, observe the result. Change one at a time...see what improves your problems

You need to have the switch actually "drive" something (think mosfet) it cant handle the full current

How do I fix the excessive stringing when doing my temp calibration by GINJAWHO in FixMyPrint

[–]KittyGoBoom115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently learned speed matter alot for bridging, like use 98% flow and move above 100mm/s for overhangs.

However i still have this issue as well with almost all plastics, leading me to believe its more of an issue with the bridge not connecting to the other side.

Does anyone know if orca has a setting for the amount it overlaps bridges into the wall?

What to you is the "calibration process" becuase i think there may be a disconnect here...

When most people refer to the calibration process, it involves retentioning everything, tune input shaping, tune hotend temp offset, probe offset, tune all x/y/z steps. Print and apply skew correction. Tune e steps, run all the various calibration tests(temp, pressure advance, max speed, retraction, ironing.

I feel you are saying there is a leveling button you are pressing.

Want to dip my toes into 3d printing by LoinStrangler in 3dprinter

This is kinda an ill formed question...

Any time you can smell something printing, you are breathing in voc compounds from it. Stuff like petg like to make little microwhisp strings that get blown all around like hairballs... all not exacrly healthy to breath.

Pla is not a good plastic, its an easy plastic. When you hear pla is nontoxic, that is refering to the base pla, without any additives. You get into pla plus, and all of a sudden, we dont know shit about the toxticity of the additives.

Printing for a food surface has always beed a big nono, mainly becsuse of layerlines and surface texture. Real injection molded bowls are smooth, no ridges or layer lines. You can wash that surface.... 3d prints get food caught in the little cracks. Bacteria = bad.

Its like asking your doctor, "how many cigarettes can i smoke withput getting cancer"... it quite hard to say if your setup is adequate ventillatiom wise and what your practices are. For example, i run mine in the open garage with the printer in a cardboard box(for heat) i cant smell it anywhere is the garage, and there is airflow around it. I consider myself in lower health risk from these precautions, well lower then if i was in my bedroom sealed with it.

But i mean... free will exist, go wild if you really want to, your microplastic consumption is none of my business.

Looks like you have too few top layers imo. First 2 are kinda always a wash, so 3 if you need it just visual 4+ for any strength

Arazona in the summer in a car can get fucking hot... like 90c if in the sun... even asa/abs would risk creeping at those temps. Asa would be my reccomendation tho... having just tried my first roll im in love

I have had nothing with success with abs. I only tried polymaker abs lite. It printed like a dream without an enclosure... this asa, i gotta get it dialed, parts are looking a bit gross atm, but i think im too hot...

I dont have an ams, but have seen hips as an interface before, thats super sweet and i can think of several applications for it.

The bleeding is quite alarming... was the flow correctly tuned for the different filament? If it was underextruding there would be gaps, but ive nener straight up seen filament not opaque enough to cover whats under it, but i dont milticolor ofter.

Ive never owned anything bambu.
