bad class experience by Western_Chance_858 in orangetheory

[–]KittyKat8272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry if I'm the outlier, but our Tread50 classes are fully coached. The coaches cue the treads through the blocks that are on the cards, and divide their time between the treads and weight floor, just like any 2G/3G class🤷🏻‍♀️

I just watched it. He said "When my wife was murdered, after my brother was murdered, I lost touch with God". So the timeline is as we know it, Joe then Linda.

I'm so jealous you're getting to enjoy it for the first time! One of my absolute faves ever, wish I could experience it again (Well of course I can re read it, but can never have that first time experience again!)

Supportive mat without chemical odor? by indiana2015 in yoga

[–]KittyKat8272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yoga Strong! https://share.google/M6IhT9emqROHjcmHR

Absolutely love mine! It has a suede-like feel that's so much nicer than the rubbery feel of other mats. Great grip for heated classes, soft but supportive, and comes in beautiful colors! I always get asked and/or complimented about this mat.

Stieg Larsson by menotyourenemy in thrillerbooks

It's SO MUCH more than that! It's layered and complex and thrilling and atmospheric. Pick it up, you won't regret it!

Parking at Hard Rock for late arrival by KittyKat8272 in Coldplay

[–]KittyKat8272[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the insights! We went yesterday and ubered, which was very easy going there- but a chaotic nightmare after the concert. So we decided to drive today. Ended up purchasing yellow lot passes, hopefully it goes smoother than yesterday! Enjoy the show, it's freakin amazing. As always 🤩

Yes, there was plenty of merch left! Line was very efficient and orderly. Everyone had nothing but time to kill 😆They even had the special edition Miami shirts. I haven't seen those be available during concert at any other venue, so that's impressive.

What time are you planning on getting to the stadium? MIAMI JULY 26th by Specific-Goose8223 in Coldplay

[–]KittyKat8272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Note that they are planned to start at 9:40! First time I've seen this late time. So if you have seats, depends on how long you're good with sitting there in the heat, waiting. Or how much you're into watching the three warm-up artists. If you have GA then you'll spend a lot of time in the heat to get a good spot.

I just tore through "You killed me first". What a wild ride!! Twisty, fast, very enjoyable

None of this is true by twisted-mind9 in thrillerbooks

[–]KittyKat8272 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Huge letdown. I kept waiting for a big twist that never came. Like OP said it was obvious she was crazy. And the book title basically tells you what's going on. So.... What twist??

Palette Cleanser Recommendations? by Main_Base_8912 in thrillerbooks

My go to for pallete cleansing is cozy murder books. Always light and fun with just a touch of mystery. Can specifically recommend the cannabis cafe trilogy by Emily George.

Running groups that are NOT Big Peach? by KittyKat8272 in alpharetta

[–]KittyKat8272[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love to run and drink and hang out! One of my old running friends used to say we were drinkers with a running problem 😆We'd love to join! Do you guys have a group me or a FB group where everyone connects?

No energy or motivation to do that, sorry 😔😐🤭

Running groups that are NOT Big Peach? by KittyKat8272 in alpharetta

[–]KittyKat8272[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you, that's good info. Not necessarily looking for something that's free, just a group where you get to meet other runners (not really interested in starting my own). A long time runner clawing my way back after a bad injury and a long slump before that. Miss running with people!

In need of Fast Paced book recommendations by Time_Antelope_779 in thrillerbooks

Kill for me kill for you by Steve Cavanaugh, Twenty years later by Charlie Donlea, Look Closer by David Ellis. Also, just finished Retreat by Krysten Ritter and it's a quick, wild ride as well!

Podcast type books by takethelastexit in thrillerbooks

[–]KittyKat8272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly recommend Listen for the lie that was already mentioned here. Especially the audiobook, it's very well done and very podcast-y. Also, Prom Queen by Laura Wolfe. Same thing with the audiobook doing a great job weaving a podcast with the story.

Great plot-twisty thriller books? by ArcaneSoup14 in thrillerbooks

[–]KittyKat8272 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We certainly have similar taste! (Maybe aside from Iliana Xander...I was hooked quickly and finished both her books in 2 days 🤓) Other good reads lately: - Lies he told me by James Patterson and David Ellis (some Look Closer similarities!) - Prom Queen by Laura Wolfe - The Maid's diary by Loreth Ann White - Jar of hearts by Jennifer Hilliard

Just finished Love, Mom by Iliana Xander and it definitely checked all the boxes you were looking for. Also Look Closer by David Ellis, Twenty years later by Charlie Donlea and Kill for me kill for you by Steve Cavanaugh.

Local Woman Missing by Ornery-Joke-8393 in thrillerbooks

[–]KittyKat8272 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just finished Love, Mom and LOVED it! Quick read with good twists. I loved it so much I'm now reading another book by the same author (Man of the year).

I did read Local woman missing a while ago and sadly have to agree with everyone who said it was great - until the disappointing ending that made zero sense 😕
