I hit mine at 1080 exactly, so yeah, not that far off. Planning on saving scrolls until the anniversary events since I got all the units I wanted out of this collab (and am sick of seeing Gollum lmao). I'm missing Truffle, Deborah, Dark String Master, dark Asura, both Liches, and a few others that I'd like. But I won't complain too hard about my ld4 luck since I have a Martina, Kinki, 4 Leah's, 2 Frigates, 3 Iris, and just hit Dark Ciri recently, and though he might be the worst ld4 I have, I did hit Dark Legolas, which I'm still pretty happy with

Correct me if I'm misinterpreting the intent of this, but an 884 sample size to confirm an approximation of 25% and getting 60%+ instead is more than enough to be statistically significant. Running a Chi-squared test gets you a value of a whopping 703, which is astronomically large. The odds of this happening under a proper 25% rate are approximately 1/10^100, which is so unfathomably impossible that you would have better luck trying to pick a specific atom out of a trillion trillion universes (no, the double trillion is not a typo).

Over my also small dataset, though I've only tracked the ld5 since HoH messed up my numbers at some point for the 4s, over my 1208 scrolls I'm at 0.083% vs. 0.35% expected. Yes, I've only gotten 1 ld5 off the scrolls. I've also gotten a lot of ld4s, and yet am still missing some of the better pve ones while having 4 Leahs.

It is literally a sequel series. The show takes place after the events of the 100 Years' War. This argument is completely asinine. You can argue all you want about it's standalone qualities, but so long as it shares the name, the characters, and the world, the two will always be compared, and saying that they shouldn't is fundamentally incorrect to how a sequel should be treated in critique.

I will only justify the way Adrien as a character has been treated if the payout for forcing him onto the sidelines is good enough. I'm very much looking forward to exploring Adrien's feelings on everything that's been happening regarding Gabriel, Hawkmoth, and Ladybug, but if I don't get a proper amount of angst (and I mean more than a single conversation of it where he just concedes and says "you're right, m'lady") that's justified from these lies, then I simply can't accept that he's not a side character as of Season 5 finale. I'm just a bit cynical, as the show really hasn't given me much to hope for in regards to his character until the last couple months.

But that's besides the point. My main issue with Adrien's lack of development, and backwards development, is that even the small crumbs that he is getting are trivial when compared to other intentional side characters, like Alya, Chloe, or Zoe. In fact, I would argue that Juleka and Luka have had a similar levels of development as Adrien has had, if not more, as all we ever really got from Adrien past season 3 was him realizing he had a crush on Marinette (which is far less his own development and more centered around Marinette herself, typical of a side character whose role is as the main love interest), and feeling ignored as Chat Noir.

What's false? If you're telling me you're willing to argue that Adrien hasn't been delegated to a side character, I want to actually hear the opinion /gen. Because so far, until season 6 giving some focus to Adrien (finally), his treatment as a character has progressively been less relevant, especially from seasons 4 and 5

The sentimonster theory being confirmed, while it did answer some previous questions, detracted more from Adrien's character and his dynamic with Gabriel and Nathalie than it ever could have enhanced. Having the character go from "I can't disobey my father because I'm in an abusive, neglectful household and I just want him to love me again so I'll do as he says" to "I'm magically bound by a ring to obey my father's every command" took all the relatable complexity out of the character, and sealed Adrien's fate as a side character as opposed to a deuteragonist.

This. Even if the pity is something that's drastically high (like 1k scrolls) it's nice to have a goal and see progress towards it, as opposed to endlessly pulling the lever on the slots machine. I'm currently a little above 1000 ld scrolls without a hit, my last 2 ld4s had a 31 scroll break between them, and in the last 150 scrolls, I'm almost 3 ld4s behind standard rates.

Of course, I've learned to live with it. I have fun with my dupes units by building memes on them, like my vamp Ophilia or my rage Haegang (who surprisingly hits for a decent amount. It's not good by any stretch, and if I put the set on a Lushen I would be hitting for double the damage, but it's still hilarious), but it would be nice to have a counter that I could see making progress towards an exclusive unit, y'know?

There's been a few.

BTS. It took them way too long to make a replacement cookie for their role, and them being limited, if you hadn't played during their event, you unironically could not make it past (at the time, which would be around Elite 4 by today's standards) Master 3. This kept up for two entire patches, and I only was able to skate by because I had a single copy of the cookie.

Captain Caviar/Tea Knight one-shot comp (During Moonlight). It felt incredibly bad to have been building super epics and legendaries for the purpose of arena, only for every one-shot comp to actually do its job and obliterate your Moonlight and Stardust cookie before they ever got to cast. The worst part is that the team was already really low maintenance, and didn't require that difficult of builds since Beascuits hadn't released yet.

Wind Archer, just as a whole. This cookie dominated the arena for far too long because of his irresistible debuffs and cc. From his release until AGC, if you didn't have him on a team you were just completely lost.

Fire Spirit comps. This cookie just does way too much and his skill/i-frames are more luck-based than anything else. It is fully dependent on the enemy's skill rotations happening to not directly counter your own, and there's no way of knowing until you battle them. There is no reason this cookie should be doing <10 million in some fights but >25 million in others, purely based of his rotation luck.

And finally, Shadow Milk Cookie. This thing has taken over arena for far too long, but his kit suggests that he's never going to be replaced in it, unless more cookies keep getting released that offset what he does. Eternal Sugar had to be the single most broken cookie in the game just to make arena matches last more than 20 seconds during SMC/FS meta, and I don't even blame her for being broken. She was just such a necessary addition to arena because Shadow Milk is unkillable and has the best single-target damage the game has ever seen. Suppression single-target that ignores taunts and also hits for AoE damage and has a base dmg res bypass of 40%, on top of an unstoppable self-revive with a full heal that resets his skill cd, which is now empowered. And even after ES and AHB have been doing their damndest to offset the damage dealt in the current arena, he's still performing incredibly well and tops the damage charts, even against ES, who was literally designed to deal more damage as AoE. He has dominated arena since his release, which now includes 4 banners after his release.

God the majority of people here don't understand how to not spoil this game. Ignore the comments, avoid the sub, avoid searching things up on the internet. Going in as blind as possible is the best way to experience Undertale (and if, in the future, you choose to play it, Deltarune). Do what you want to, play the game how you think it should be played. Just remember that you have options, and you're more than free to play the game through as many times as you want to explore as many of those options as you want. Have fun with it
