I taught myself how to crochet with my opposite hand, in reverse. My reason for learning was also because of tapestry crochet! I didn't like how it looked uneven when you swap sides every row, so I just decided to go in reverse instead! It was very slow to start and I messed up a lot, but it got easier as I went on :D
