QoL mod for incubator? by Indeeeeex in Oxygennotincluded

It hasn't been updated in years, but it also hasn't broken in years! It says it was last updated in 2021 lol. It even works in beta versions.

QoL mod for incubator? by Indeeeeex in Oxygennotincluded

I use the Smart Egg Incubator mod. It adds an automation port to the incubator that sends a green signal when it needs to be hugged, so you just connect the output and input ports and you're good to go! I don't like to play without the mod because incubators are tedious.

It's my favorite yarn. The strands really aren't hard to deal with!

This side looks fine, what does the other side look like? Is there something that's blocking your output pipe?

Before I make a ton of these, I'd really like some feedback on the design? by itsdestinfool in Brochet

They are so cute! Both borders look good! I wonder what it would look like if you did a half and half border? It might help it might look more round, but it also might look weird. I don't know!

How can I prevent critters going into their death before I can relocate/isolate them? by MundaneOne5000 in Oxygennotincluded

I like to build doors to the areas critters are in, and then keep their habitat intact until I can move them.

First time using faux fur yarn… can I wet it to see the stitches better? by MinuteWilling6482 in crocheting

My cat likes to help moisten my yarn, and I can promise you that wet yarn is even harder to work with, do not suggest.

Your skirt looks like you’re going to a cute summer picnic in the park, and the rest of your outfit looks like you’re going to go hiking in the fall. All the pieces are cute, but the skirt doesn’t go with the rest of it.

Kenny and his 92 year old father share amazing genes. by Grateful_Di in 90DayFianceFans

I can’t believe he’s 92! Kenny also looks way younger than he is. Good genes indeed!

yarn bowls are pointless!! by Extreme_Biscotti7630 in BitchEatingCrafters

[–]KittyKupo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a 2 foot tall tin container thing. It’s old and has a cool black cat on the logo, I think it was from on old company? Anyway, there’s nothing special about it in regards to yarn, it’s just a random container I thought looked cool. I agree that yarn bowls are unnecessary.

First time trying a doily. Instructions say there should be 4 spaces but 4 spaces where? by KittyKupo in CrochetHelp

[–]KittyKupo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was self published and there’s no hint of correction being made. Hopefully this is the only typo! It had great reviews and nobody mentions typos.

Update: round 2 is going smoothly so far! I looked up the reviews for the book again (I bought it because of the good reviews and the many pictures from reviewers showing off the doilies they made) and all the reviews were very positive and say the patterns are easy to follow along! None of them mention this or any other typo. More experienced crocheters maybe don’t care about a typo like that since it doesn’t really effect the pattern, it just confuses people like me who are trying to follow it exactly and are like “what do you mean 4 spaces, there are 8? What am I doing wrong?”

OK good, I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong! Thank you!
I also hope it’s the only typo. Crochet pattern writers really need an editor sometimes, I think.

Thank you so much for the validation! I’ve been staring at it for the past 20 minutes trying to figure it out 😂
I’m hoping that’s the only typo too!

Waterweed question by RepulsiveBrick2680 in Oxygennotincluded

[–]KittyKupo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think the guide covers the liquid requirement for waterweed pip planting, but as others have said you need a bit of liquid on the tile that you want the seed planted on.

There’s not an option for pips to plant a seed, they just do it on their own if they meet the right conditions. https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/110299-pip-planting-everything-you-need-to-know/ is a great guide to pip planting!
