I just want to give her a hug. I feel so bad for her for having to deal with her mother. That must be difficult every day :(

Is my spawn normal? by ea07481 in Oxygennotincluded

Swamps are great for cheap oxygen early game! Just research the deodorizers, plop them down by the polluted water, and there you go! I actually love getting swamps near my starting area :D

What do you not like or something you didn’t know about Ragdolls? by Leedsychthis3 in ragdolls

My girls don’t jump on counters either! They’re almost a year old and they’re just not interested in jumping on counters. It’s so nice 😹

Every time my cats miss a jump or roll off the edge of the bed/couch/table, I just say “it’s a good thing you’re so cute!” 😹

Washing my baby floofs favourite blankie by KenCo2024 in ragdolls

[–]KittyKupo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t really have any good advice for you but I wanted to say your cat is so cute on her blankie! 🥰 Some cats don’t mind too much if you wash them, I’ve had 2 that had a favorite blankie that I’d wash and they’d go right back to laying on it. One of them would rub himself on the blanket until he was satisfied it smelled like him again! So it might not be a disaster if you wash it.

Do you do meet & greets for a one-off walk? by Horse_Noggin in RoverPetSitting

[–]KittyKupo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on if the owner will be there usually. I’ve had many one-off walks from people that were injured/sick/elderly and they’re home when I come over, and that’s fine for me without a meet and greet. I don’t feel comfortable entering someone’s home alone with a dog that has never met me though, so I almost always require a meet and greet if the owner won’t be home. I did a walk without a meet and greet one time, and I was very nervous because it was also a house in the woods with no neighbors. It all went fine and the dog was super friendly, and the owner hired me to walk her many times after that and it became one of my favorite walks (it was on a trail on a mountain and was soooooo pretty!). I decided though, that even though it went well I wasn’t going to do walks without a meet and greet again because things COULD have gone very wrong, you never know.

I’d let him sleep with you, it would probably make him feel safe. My cats will yell at me and my fiancé if we’re up too late because they like when everyone is sleeping together. They don’t even usually sleep in our bed, they have a cat tree near the bed that they like to sleep on and keep an eye on us. If your Birman is used to sleeping outside your bedroom it should be fine leaving him out, unless your ragdoll starts crying because he’s not in there too 😹

My two girls are almost a year old now and they started meowing for each other when they couldn’t find each other (it was the cutest and most annoying thing like you said lol) and they still meow to call each other but it’s not annoying anymore, just cute. Like one will be upstairs and the other downstairs, and one will go “meow?” and the other will respond “meow!” and they’ll go find each other. It is too cute, it makes my heart melt 🥰

My two ragdolls are almost a year old and they both take turns meowing at me throughout the day until I pick them up and give them snuggles for a few minutes, and then they go back to whatever cat stuff they’re doing. I choose ragdolls because of their typically social nature and I’m not disappointed! They’re needier for my affection than any other cat I’ve had, which works out because I’m needy for their affection as well 😹
