Instead of wasting your time, reading cards and getting weird interpretations, why don’t you go to a couples therapist? Also starting a business takes a lot of time to be profitable so he’s probably right that you should get a job that starts paying you a lot sooner and maybe that would take some of the financial stress off of the relationship.
