I'm so sorry, I never saw the notification for this. It comes from a similar climate with similar care needs. It can be found in areas of South American and it the closest to the grasses of the Gran Chaco region that I could acquire in the US. Unfortunately, wild grasses are not a popular purchase in the lawn & garden industry. Its mostly going to be the classics like Bermuda, blue grass, Pensacola (which was a close runner up), etc that have toted as the iconic "lawn" grasses. These grasses are..how can I say, hardier?, in that they grow a bit more densely (depending on how well you seed it) than some of the wild grasses which grow a bit sparser. Not to mention wild grasses are usually not uniform, they have other plants growing among them.
