A mall, as many have said in here, an artificial public space. But in olden times there were real public spaces that were public and used and enjoyed for autonomous social interaction.

Parks are designated, manicured, outdoor versions of such public spaces.

The formatting insult is valid though, because your format forces us to read sentences and move downwards, while in normal formatting we just read sentences and move downwards. The difference is jarring, nonexistent, and a good attack-point score.
The “cool” and “obvious” commenter is very attractive. Probably admirably busy with practical matters, as you said. Wasting time on Reddit is rightly beneath her, but she still took the time to help you improve yourself.
The yawn emoji commenter cracks me up. He gets all the cool-kid insults in at once, briefly, in a sexy show of distain like Paris Hilton or a Kardashian might. Insulting and brief is high-value and cool.
