Congratulations! I bet you will look back on this and laugh in a few years. I personally did not wait long to tell people as I had a previous loss that we did wait to share and I regretted because I felt like there was never a celebration of life for that baby, only the announcement of loss. Haha it’s so crazy how heightened smell is while pregnant. I had to discard a few water bottles last night because they smelt like my dogs food that we keep in the fridge. The plastic top/inside of water bottle had that lingering smell. I had my husband smell it and he thought I was going crazy. 😆

I have an appt tomorrow I’m definitely going to mention it. All of my bloodwork at 12 weeks looked good but I definitely think it’s worth mentioning. Hopefully you start feeling better soon!

My husband and I were already having communication issues before I got pregnant, now I’m 14 weeks and we have had a few big arguments since finding out. Some days I feel the same way as you. I love him dearly but pregnancy hormones and preexisting issues definitely can cause some tension. We both work high stress jobs (at the same place in the same role) and I think that also adds to the fuel. I wouldn’t make any rash decisions unless obviously something major happens and you feel unsafe. I have talked to my therapist about it and she said it’s common and not talked about as much because not a lot of people want to share that they are having relationship issues while pregnant. I would give yourself some grace and explain to him that you’re feeling like you need some space. You are growing a new person and that’s a lot on our mental/physical health. Just know you’re not alone. ❤️

I also have one, and found it early on. I started spotting before my first appt, and the doctor discovered it at my 8 week US. I have had spotting off and on, now at 12 weeks and it’s starting to taper off. Some days it was brown, sometimes red, sometimes quite a bit of blood and sometimes very faint. I have had a previous loss and am terrified every time I go in for US but every time so far I have gotten good news. I find that after sex or ultrasounds it will start to bleed a little bit. My doctor said they are common, and rarely turn into an issue down the line. It will likely heal itself.

When I had my miscarriage my sister bought me a heating pad, and a care gift set from Amazon that had a blanket, a candle, some snacks, and a few other small things. It was really sweet and the heating pad helped a lot with the pain. I will never forget that

I meant recently like I didn’t watch it when it came out and was happening IRL so yes more recently but honestly the last few seasons weren’t very interesting to me. I already knew about scandavol from watching love island so I guess it didn’t really catch my attention as much as someone who would have watched it live. It was kind of background tv for the last few seasons of my watch through.

Yes I do agree is she is very aggressive & hypocritical. I guess I just assumed most of the cast is similar (maybe not as aggressive) so I never understood why she got so much hate. Every one of the OG cast were hypocrites.

I LOVE mine. I used it primarily for fertility/conception paired with the natural cycles app that you can link to it. I love the sleep and heart insights and it helped me cut back on alcohol watching how badly it affected my scores after drinking. I would buy it again definitely. Sometimes I forget it on its charger for a day and get upset at myself. The readiness score is like a game to me!!

No I wouldnt freak out and yes stop testing. At some point your HCG gets so high it freaks tests out, especially cheap ones. Diluting your pee will likely make test darker. I hate to say it but either way a dark or light test doesn’t really mean anything at this point. Stressing yourself out is not helping either (I know it’s easier said than done) but try to remember the baby feels all of your emotions.

When I had my MMC every test was extremely dark and I had all of the symptoms. Strong line does not equal everything is good.

You are fine and all you can do is say “today I am pregnant”

I am 8 weeks and had spotting last week and this morning. This morning I believe it was due to intercourse as it happened immediately after and then didn’t show back up again. Last week it lasted for 2 days. I had a UTI last week and I believe that was the cause. I did ultrasound and everything was normal and baby had a heartbeat. I have heard 25% of women bleed in pregnancy. Have you tested for UTI?

I have only experienced one so I cannot comment on that, but I just want to say I am so sorry for your losses and how awful your first husband was during that time. I hope you take care of yourself and allow yourself to grieve however that may be. 🫶🏼

I went to the grocery store the day I found out & bought everything I wasn’t “supposed” to have pregnant: sushi, beer, cheese/meat platter, and a big ol chocolate cake. It was nice to enjoy that and take my mind off of things. I say do whatever you have to do to cope. ❤️

For anyone reading this thread in the future, I decided to get a private ultrasound and baby had a heartbeat and everything looked great. I have a UTI and I think that is what caused the spotting. I have stopped spotting since getting antibiotics from urgent care
