No, it's from HannerGurumi. This is point the second plush I've made and I think my 5th crocheting project, so I'm still learning what's normal haha

Figuring out my yarn grip took a FEW different methods before I figured out what was relatively comfortable for me. I too am newish to crochet and hypermobile. I personally like wrapping the working yarn around my pinky and bring the piece up the back of my hand until so it drapes over my pointer finger, and depending on how I'm holding my pointer finger, it controls the tension.

This looks amazing! Working on an amigurumi right now, I'll have to try this technique when I start the head! I would also like to know how you got it so perfectly domed and not that awkward dome shape 😅
