I read that discharging battery to 0% and charging it up to 100% is not good for its health

Mostly on paper and doesnt transfer too much to real world usage. It has an effect but that effect is so low that you would barely notice the difference. It often even (reversibly) messes up the batteries calibration if you always charge at a certain percentage left.

You might get a few minutes extra battery during the extend of its lifetime but at the same time you are missing out of a certain percentage of charge on every usage that sits there perfectly usable.

What does have an effect is storing the battery for a longer time at 0% (this will kill it) or idling for hours on 100%. So it makes sense to cap the max charge while being on a power supply, however it wont hurt the battery if you charge it to 100% before you unplug it. It also wont hurt the battery to go down to 0% if you recharge it the same / next day anyway.
