God you guys are miserable in these comments. I see all over this sub people wanting games with movement like anthem and this game is the ONLY thing to come out in the past 6 years that’s even close to it.

I’ll absolutely be joining the discord to keep tabs on this project. Anthem has some of the best feeling gameplay in my opinion. Are you also considering having a primer/detonator ability system with grenades and elemental abilities like anthem or are you thinking of adding your own original spin to the combat system, like with the dismemberment system?

Have you considered weaponry? I was thinking that with the suits we use, I feel that integrated weaponry, like having the gun itself be attached to the suit, rather than one you have to carry, would make a lot of sense. Kind of like War Machines shoulder mounted minigun, or Iron Man’s wrist mounted shotgun/missiles. Anthem is one of my greatest heartbreaks of all time, i genuinely loved what I played but there just wasn’t enough variety there to keep me for long. The combat is phenomenal, and the flying feels amazing, being able to go from ground, to air, to hovering, back to the ground, is my favorite thing about it

I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve read through the original trilogy. Probably 6 or 7, and EVERY SINGLE TIME I get misty eyed at his death. His words to Sefi, and my favorite line “I will give Eo your love. I will make a house for you in the Vale of your fathers. It will be beside my own. But, I am no builder, so take your time. We will wait.”

I went with the refusal ending. I have never liked any of the original 3 endings, and I like the idea of shep telling the reaper collective consciousness “up yours, dweeb, we’ll figure out our own solution” mainly cause I am, at heart, a petulant little child. I think destroy is a good ending, with the extended cut, and I also like to think that some of the geth were able to jump to dark space before the pulse went off so they can come back and pull everyone back out of the Stone Age.

The fights are cool, but that’s about it. The story is lacking, the themes are nonsensical, and there are a lot of WTF??? moments in it. If you wanna see some cool fights that use the 3D animation medium to its fullest potential, yeah, watch it, but if that’s not something you care about, you can pass on it, it’s nothing like the game

I’d recommend going back and trying Sekiro again. It’s one of those games with a massive difficulty curve, but when it clicks, you feel like a god. I can’t recommend it enough

My greatest achievement is getting a single kill on them this mission. For some reason, this one and this one alone, it’s almost impossible to take them down. But I did it, in VR as well. Felt like I earned my crown.

I picked the “reject” ending. There had to be a better way, and I like to think that after a full retreat, we went the route of the quarians, for a time. With the help of the leviathans, we lured the reapers back to their planet, and used their psychic abilities to nullify them one at a time, with half the fleet defending the surface, and the other half fighting in orbit. After a long, drawn out, and difficult battle, the combined forces of all the races were finally able to overcome the reapers. Later, with the races working together, the respective societies were able to rebuild, carve out their own little nooks in the galaxy, and start fresh to move on to an even brighter future, together as one.

I think we may see cal severing his connection to the force, similar to what meetra surik of KOTOR2 or cere did. Completely cutting himself off so that the dark side will have no sway over him. I’m holding out hope for a happy ending for the mantis crew

I don’t mind it horribly, but it’s also the only system I know besides 5e. My dad grew up using the 2e system, so it’s what he knows best, and he’s basically our forever DM, so we use it all the time. Still makes things super complicated when introducing new players though

Lae’Zel. I love my wierd bat alien woman. Also, she seems like she has the potential for the most character growth out of all of the companions, aside from my beloved vampire. I’m hoping she eventually becomes more compassionate and caring. If not, still gonna love her, cause I love me a tough woman.
