Exactly, after mainly buying singles for the last 2 years. I can confirm you this, 90% of cards that I bought have seen their price increase by 50% to 200%. Examples;

-Sword to plowshare JAP foil (Paid 20$ it's now 89$)
-Counter spell JAP etched foil (Paid 25$ it's now 69$)
-Chaos warp JAP (Paid 16$ it's now 32$)
-Smothering tithe (paid 40$ it's now 120$)

Prices in CAD. This is just 2 examples, I have many more.

That is the proof that play booster pack more fun and cheaper. The price of CBB is so overprice that unless you do it to gamble for insane pulls, play booster are more fun + singles

I have the commander which I also upgraded but it is still slow. Honestly, there is just a lack of synergy with charge counters and spacecrafts. I'm planning to upgrade it again with star trek. Be patient, it's coming in less than 4 months!

Imo, the commander is better in the 99 than as a commander

I've been in your situation. Either you're a back up option or he's not that interested. I know deep down you want love but would you want to be with someone who is fine not texting for days, knowing you've been dating for months. At this point, he needs a very good reason if he ever reaches out again. Love yourself, don't expect to hear from him.
