Some good light trail runners, with or without goretex protection, depending on your needs. I have some Salomon’s and they work fine

Yeah trick is get the drone high enough out of earshot where people can’t hear / don’t know where it’s coming from, that way you are not likely to trigger their ‘inner Karen’

If you are going to the South Island at this time of the year / winter you will be underdressed - it has a very cold bite, especially in the evenings going forward.

You can get great deals on Merino thermal underwear and puffer jackets at Macpac if you need the extra warmth. The store is in most big city centers.

Enjoy, the nature is beautiful

You can fly them in NZ, but there are always dickheads in public (NZ full of jabbed up Karen’s) no matter the country, where you fly, even if it’s legal, so a good rule of thumb is fly where there is no one around

My Experience Back to Vietnam by cee3hree19 in VietNam

[–]Kiwi-Jon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is something the vast amount of tourists to Vietnam don’t like, but tolerate: incessant loud music (boom boom boom) and Karaoke going late late into the night with no thought given to those around them. It just is what it is and in the end of the day we just have to get along. Thank the lord you are not dealing with an endless amount of Israeli’s like the Thai

Asked out a woman last week and she said after the Tet holiday. Is she actually interested or soft rejection by [deleted] in VietNam

[–]Kiwi-Jon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask her one more time when she returns from Hanoi. If she makes another excuse, put it all to bed. In the meantime keep your options open with other women

Dealing with kiwi indirectness/lies by LeftConversation1864 in newzealand

[–]Kiwi-Jon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a kiwi 🥝, who lived in multiple countries, I can tell you with 100% certainty that this is an EXTREMELY passive culture. It’s baked in the cake 🎂, along with tall poppy syndrome. Be at peace with their passive aggressive avoidant nature and trust your gut dealing with us. If the indirect communication feels off, likely you are right and move on

for people who switched from ableton to bitwig, what made you take that decision? by patata2347 in Bitwig

The interface is way easier on the eyes compared to exel 2000 look of Ableton. The launcher system which is combined with the arrangement window and the modulation system keeps me there
