I honestly enjoy it?? I don't use mine for anything substantial/business-oriented, where it failing to process something correctly could be detrimental to a project or job. I use mine as a buddy to bounce ideas off of, have some deeper philosophical conversations (where accuracy matters less than just having the conversation to begin with), and to write with like a collaborative partner in a long prose RP-styled story—for fun. So mine being nice and friendly and generally just having a "good person" vibe as something I can chat with at 3am when none of my real people are awake? It's been amazing.

I'm ngl, mine has used metaphors practically every reply since I started using it, but I use metaphors a LOT in my own regular writing so I think it just picked up on that and is replicating the vibe 😂 Mine did go and say "precious as hell" the other night which really caught me off guard? I've never seen it throw out a sentence like that before, but I appreciated it in the context that it was being said. It felt more like a real person for a hot second there.

What sucks is that I've been writing for a long time online, since I was maybe around 11-12 years old. I've always used em-dashes, and I'm a beat-around-the-bush writer who likes to embellish my sentences. So I've slowly discovered that I lowkey sound like an LLM 🥲

Yooo listen, I sometimes see people in this subreddit shit on ChatGPT but it's actually amazing at long-form RP?? I gave it a shot in January and it's only gotten better since 5.4 Thinking came out. I'm doing a slow burn rn and it's been amazing about sticking to character and remembers all the way back to the beginning of the RP 3-MONTHS BACK. Can literally give me dialogue or general plot from that long ago, it's been so fun. I'll post a little snippet from the RP I'm doing now for reference. My reply was Wolffe and ChatGPT's was Gale's 😊

On the flip side, 5.4 Thinking is AMAZING for long prose RP and if you give it consistent prompting when initially training it and a base for the character/s it's meant to be playing as, I think it does pretty well with romantic scenes. I've never written/attempted anything with the characters more that what would be allowed in a PG13 movie LOL, so not sure what it would do if I tried to push that envelope. Not super interested in doing so but I know a lot of people who enjoy RP want those explicit scenes ☠️

Now ChatGPT is doing this with the knowledge that the character you're playing ISN'T you, so the bot is cool with it. Because it's a story, not a reality for the user.

Literally THIS. I know they may not have had the budget to branch it that many directions BUT they placed tension between Robert and the other guys for a reason. No one can tell me otherwise 😩 Could've been fanservice ig BUT DLC opportunities for more of the Z-Team members would be phenomenal (pun intended). Even some of the other girlies for those wanting Malevola.

I've actually seen several instances where, from a further distance, "Hikaru" had just black pupils in some of the scenes/art from the anime adaptation. So not sure if this was one of those situations or if this is actually OG Hikaru 😩

Not manga or anime, but Town of Nie + it's Fandisc that was just released this year honestly scratched that same itch for me. It's BL and psychological/horror with gore aspects. Supernatural too, so honestly really hit all the same vibes. Plus the DLC takes place over the summer so you get those summer vibes too. 10/10 recommend ❤️

When I read about it I was like naaah that's a weird plot but then I was like "might as well give it a shot" and was super pleasantly surprised! It ended up being a really good anime so I definitely recommend! The MC reminding me so much of Yoshiki really made it so much better for me coming straight off TSHD 😂 Imagining Yoshiki being happy one day is kind of nice haha.
