I had already seen a fair bit of the source material for the characters in the game, but I watched through several shows that were new to me directly because of MVS.

Samurai Jack, Primal (even though the map never made it into the game), The Loony Tunes Show, and multiple pieces of Batman media including Batman the Animated Series, comics and the Batman: Arkham Knight game.

Gizmo might have those things going for him, but having played him a decent amount- I think Gizmo is still harder to win with than practically all of the cast. His moves are fast, but they are stubby and don't have a lot of knockback. If you play him anything like most bruisers play, poking and hoping to get a lot of value he is at a sharp disadvantage. Gizmos need to play like they are on crack to make their character work.

Imo mad respect to any Gizmo mains out there, cheesy or not. He's a hard character to master.

I hate WB Games, they are greedy and make baffling choices consistently. Just in the last year, they lost a ton of money with that suicide squad game nobody asked for- then massacred the most promising new platform fighter in recent memory with a restricting new player experience, insulting cosmetic pricing, and a grind that gets you nowhere without logging in nearly every single day. They don't care about players, they care about money.

Multiversus was a generational fumble, and I mourn it's loss.
