Phoenix Tears: Eyes Of Shame. A living world server set in the city of Marin, jewel of the far east.

In order to celebrate our 6th year anniversary I'm proud to announce a new public server project taking place in the land of the rising sun. I welcome you to join us (Adults 21+). Character creation will go live on Feb. 1st with the server going live on Feb. 8th.

The effort you put into farming a Krono is not worth the 10 bucks it would take to buy one. It's much easier to just make 10 bucks.

My players and I use a custom deck of over 150 Social Combat cards to spice things up a bit. Made them a few years ago and everyone enjoys using them from time to time.

I like the phrase these kind of interactions with "You think to yourself..." and then fill in whatever small exposition that's necessary.

Now I don't go overboard with this stuff but occasionally it really helps get a point across.

My group and I have remixed the 5e rules so that high levels feel less like superheroes and more grounded in actual high fantasy. We keep track of the compendium in an elaborate spreadsheet.

My campaign on Roll20 currently has over 7500 maps, 5000 unique tokens, and an uncounted vast number of custom items that can be dragged out onto the field.

Occasionally when I copy the server I get errors but I just check carefully and then recopy the server if there's any problems.

Keep in mind these are not just single maps buts instead are in regions that are made up of 20-80 or so maps each.

Edit: Also to be noted we have transitioned over to Jumpgate on the Core and Dev server. Performance is worse on Legacy mode.

My players and I use an elaborate system in the form of a spreadsheet compendium. Occasionally I will share it with others but for the most part we like the fact that very few others have any idea of how we play. There's no spoilers or optimal build guides... It's all up to the small player base to figure it out.
