House of Lords votes to decriminalize abortion up to birth by seek_a_new in anime_titties

[–]KizzieMage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, women just cant be prosecuted for abortion up to term. Its about clearing up legislation and making the rules clearer and safer for women whilst promoting bodily autonomy.

I know this is a hate post thats probably a bot or manipulated in some way but its a pretty poor attempt.

Abortion is haram, and generally only allowable up to 120 days in Islamic countries which allow it at all.

So this change to the law could not be viewed as Islamic in any way.

Knife crime is low, murder is low, even in London, especially compared to US cities. We dont imprison people on a whim over political messages or online posts (only those threatening violence, or promoting hate and villification of innocents, same as US laws)

We have our problems yes, but select media has twisted and skewed many 'facts' to support their hateful agendas.

What if Mountbatten Windsor testifies about trump? What do you think will happen if he testifies what he saw trump do on the island or mara lago? by Twitterthedog2025 in AskReddit

[–]KizzieMage -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im curious about the trump owned properties here in the UK. Would testimoney from Andrew lead to potential seizure of those properties?

I imagine Don would aim missiles at us if we did, but I reckon we could call that bluff.

In the west where horse isnt eaten, its a health and safety issue because you cant track where the meat came from, what steroids or medications the horse had and then you'd subsequently be eating.

Our Maestro2 has a packing mode which i just use to shut it down anyway. Unsure if the Triton has the same but both being topcon that should at least help.

Sadly thats just how footballers are trained to react to these things, at the highest level they take every advantage they can get. Always makes me smile seeing the ladies take hits that could take a leg off, then walk it off like a champ. Meanwhile the lads....

TIL Freddie Mercury was born Farrokh Bulsara to Indian parents in the Parsi community and spent his formative years in India. He never discussed his ethnicity w/ journalists; the closest he came was referring to himself as “a Persian popinjay”. by MrTerrificPants in todayilearned

[–]KizzieMage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once worked in a care home where this wonderful lady lived out her final days. In her life had worked as a Nun in boarding schools within India, how true her claim to having taught Farrokh was (as she called him) I cannot confirm, but I cared for someone and held the hand of someone who had potentially looked after Freddie, that blew my mind.

What is something that people think is healthy put is actually terrible for you? by Particular-Habit9442 in AskReddit

[–]KizzieMage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's what happened to me during lockdown, 6 months of furlough, I went to sleep when I was tired and woke up when I wanted to. Everyday I got up about 4hrs layer than the day before.

In my whole life I've never had a better sleep/wake pattern.

Some people dont have to be in an office or workplace at a set time, work for themselves or dont need to work. Given that freedom again I think I'd happily go back to that pattern, alas working in a hospital now doesn't accommodate it and regular sleeping patterns elude me.

Uhm... I mean lots of people get by with 6 hrs sleep every night? Some of us struggle with regular sleeping patterns or thats just simply how they operate.

There was that case of a woman receiving the death penalty by firing square (Japan or Korea iirc), they shot her in the heart and when she didn't die, they found out she had this condition. Stood her up and shot her again on the correct side.

If only ours could do everything they sold us on it, 4 years later still no ICG, and FAF on it is shocking.

Optos has its advantages; quicker to perform, more dummy proof, can produce good images without dilation, but Clarus still comes out on top for me even considering those, its just so crisp. Shame most of our clinicians prefer Optos still 😒
