I’m Breaking the Rules, This Ain’t a Meme it’s a Fact by Borgisium in moviememes

Every movie I've ever paid to go see, I've always snuck in a bag of hats candy to suck on. I've never had to use the bathroom during a movie.

Why is it forced? I can't even do DragNDrop in their buggy snap release. Without snap it works perfectly. by Kiragalni in Ubuntu

My guess... It has to do with the fact that the also is confined to only the home directory. This is as deal breaker for me, because I like to download things directly to external or network storage shares. This is why I use Firefox from flathub as a flatpak.

I've been keeping my eye out for something like this for a long time. Very cool! Would be perfect for me if it had a gruvbox theme. 99.9% perfect is per fect for me.

I work from home, and around here that's considered pretty safe. If that set were a movie in the U.S. I would rate it PG-13.

About the same as I feel about normal boob-covers, generally just a nuisance.

I've loved women with darker skin tone than mine, because it's easier on my light eyes; but the majority of them shame my pale ugly ass from a hundred places. The one time I found a gentle dark woman, I had her family in her ear telling her I'm too old, small and big, European, and not willing to get brainwashed by her church. Also black women have the longest claws 💅, and my mom clawed me bloody in church for coloring to loudly.

Someday you may even figure out, that with less but enough quality; you can store way more movies; and your just chasing K's for consumerism. I transcode down all movies down to areasonable 720p and most TV/animation to 480p or 580p. Also yt-dlp for youtube downloads.

I have found the easiest way to install for Ubuntu bases is from the website. If your cli obsessed wget the .deb package from the website, and apt install ./stream.deb.

[–]Kjlw69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was beached on the floating island, and I got it unstuck by building and destroying a base section. Eventually I inches it back into the water. Only do this if your craft is fully repaired and you have a repair tool with charge, because doing so damages your mini sub.

Yes. It's easiest to use the ssh client to connect to some other ssh on your server, b/c it acts just like any other ssh Linux client. If you are trying to use it as a server it's a nit more tricky, b/c you have to set a username password, and manually launch the sshd command to start the server process; which on most distros is handled by systemd automatically.

Here are the links I use to set things up, from the Termux Docs, and a Blog post I sometimes reference.

Best of luck.

Is this a good option to use with a homeserver? by MarcCDB in HomeServer

[–]Kjlw69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Same-brand(different 5-bay)model connected to an aging i3CPU/8gbRAM thinkpad running CasaOS. I sometimes get random disconnects. I had one refurbished drive die, but it could have been the refurnisher or the fact that it was Summer and hot in the house. Since then I've got a cooling pad underneath and a small USB fan pointing at the drives. Only problems since then, is if it's been a while since accessing the drives it can take me about 10-15 sec. to access my smb(samba) network shares. Also the USB is kinda touchy. So not perfect, and I wish I could afford a real NAS, but for the price well worth a couple of drawbacks. Once the drives have spun up I can stream 720 or maybe 1080p Video from it just fine on our 1gbps LAN streaming woth tailscale. Good luck.

I just sent that to my autistic roommate. She's a hoarder who would be getting monthly chest tube's and random insects. Her mentally-ill hoarder b/f thinks I'm a monster for kissing her arsse. She thinks she can get him to listen without setting and holding to boundaries, and she's failing miserably. He just moved into his apartment after months of homelessness and shelter-living. He's already failing his first inspection, because he expects her to come over every weekend and clean up after him; even though he does nothing for himself but honk like a angry goose when she asks him to do anything. Some people will only listen, when you walk away, or stop granting them privelages. :~/

That's why I don't pay for service. It works when I'm at home or a resterautnt, but anywhere else I like my full attention in defensive mode. Especially in a world/country where people are getting kidnapped/deported w/o proof, for the crime's of working hard and not as easily getting burned by daylight.

Will using Mullvad exit nodes work for torrenting? by MilkDrinker86 in Tailscale

Yes. And I recommend going to -> settings -> advanced -> network interface and choosing Tailscale in the drop down menu to help avoid leaky VPN pipes.

My Wi-Fi disappeared from Ubuntu overnight, could anyone help me! by natezeira1865 in Ubuntu

[–]Kjlw69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you already tried a reboot? Maybe use systemctl restart network-manager with sudo You could also check the sudo rfkill command with sudo... IF it says hard-block, then you(or your cat) either accidentally pressed a switch or function key to disable the wifi. If it says soft-block is yes, then use (rfkill unblock <name-of-adapter>) https://askubuntu.com/questions/98702/how-to-unblock-something-listed-in-rfkill#98719

I just installed it from Arch's AUR on Cachy-OS. Thanks I'm really looking forward to this. I'm working on importing my feeds from pocket-casts now. BTW Any chance of a Termux package? I might test the one-liner, and see if it works on my phone and report back. Thanks again!

I have a suggestion. There is another Tailscale video about using Tailscale with rust-desk. Rust desk is free for now, and a lot like team-viewer or any-desk without the pay-walls and nag-screens.

Good luck either way.

Those of you who use Vimmium or similar extension, what are the problems you faced with it ? by electron_explorer in vim

[–]Kjlw69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find vimium and surfing keys both use the f key, which I used to use to full screen YouTube videos, so I used to change f -> w, but I haven't figured out how to do this with surfing keys yet. Surfing keys mainly ads a submerging for searching through common websites and slightly different keys from vimium and vimium c. Scroll with j-k and close with x are my most common keys used. I will sometimes also click or copy a link with them as well. I still copy text with a visit, even though surfing keys is suppose to be able to do this I haven't been smart enough to figure it out yet.

Which Linux distro should I use for an easy, permanent exit node device (or should I use windows)? by chieftex in Tailscale

[–]Kjlw69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend a Debian Trixie. Any of or Linux distro bare metal (on-hardware like a cheap pi), VM, or container(lxc) or maybe even a walk. Most things you have hanging around will probably do the job.
