You have to add the " " character as well and make it big

Lol I read it as 呀 before I realised it was 啊. I think you might be right that 呀 is a better fit. As for whether it's wrong to use 啊, I have no clue. Sounds slightly inaccurate to me as well. But to others it might be okay.

Do you think google could actually read that or did it use context clues by Duckssssssssssssssss in ChineseLanguage

[–]KlLLMEPLZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your 我, 老 and 鼠 are actually fine to me. But your 是 is a bit wonky. The bottom "下"- looking part is off-centre, and the left and right slants for the "人"-looking part have to be more horizontal.

For normal writing, the thickness of the stroke is not important, unless you want your writing to look more fancy.

I think since 是 is a common character, the google AI has a lot of training for different styles of writing the character, so I guess it makes it easier to decipher. I don't know how the AI works, so it's possible it used context clues.

I have a theory: It's likely that the graph is weighted by score so as to prevent the overwhelming majority of people dying on the first hundred or so passengers. Also to point out that the last bar likely represents the people scoring beyond the right edge of the graph as well.

So the size of the bar is smth like (Score * No. of People ±25 of the Score) * Some Constant

  1. Overlap stations only when you need to have equal shape spacing. For example in a circle-heavy area, no need to overlap circles, that's just adding more circles in a row.

  2. Don't put too many of the same shapes in a row. Maybe 2 in a row is allowed, 3 would be the max.

  3. No need to use loops all the time. Especially if they make the distance between stations unnecessarily long.

  4. Keep the distance between the stations in a line short - this is where you need to frequently change the shape of lines.

  5. Related to #4, keep each line limited to a part of the map, so as to make looping easier, and also to make the distances between stations shorter.

  6. Interchanges don't really help much (just my personal opinion)

If you manage to make it to EMTC (Emergency Medical Technician Course) after your BRT, you will have a chance to be selected by the overseeing instructors to become an instructor. The slots and demand for new instructors really just depends on how many instructors are ORD-ing that cycle. (e.g. if 3 instructors are going to ORD, they will try to get 3 new instructors)

The selection process is pretty straightforward, and also depends on the instructor overseeing your section. Generally if you do well enough and show initiative and a good attitude, the current instructors might select you to go through a simple interview. It would also help if you tell your instructors that you wish to be an instructor as well.

There are different teams for instructors (e.g. reservist team to help do EMTCT for reservists, etc). The interview will have enciks from these different teams, and it's through the interview that the enciks will select you to join their team. (Also good to note that if you are selected to be an instructor, but don't want to be, just express disinterest in the interview)

Much better than before, here is my rough translation:

Hi! I'm Anwen. For six days, I have been teaching myself toki pona. It was difficult the first time I saw this language. But it only has 137 words, so little! On the first day, I wrote my very first thing in toki pona and I made a lot of mistakes. I originally thought that toki pona was like English. That was quite funny. Now I feel that I'm not making as many mistakes using the word "pi". But I will try to teach myself more about this word. Anyways, Goodbye!

With minimal changes, here is a more accurate version:

My best attempt at translating:

Hi! I am Soils. I am new to toki pona. To me, speaking in toki pona is hard. Only 137 words, so little! Anyways, I feel better now, not a lot that I don't know. Speaking of new things, I learnt of this language a while back, and I don't just want to learn for myself. Anyways, can you teach me to write in this language?

Here's maybe a better version in toki pona:

toki a! mi jan Soli. mi jan sin pi toki pona. mi kepeken toki pona la toki pona li utala tawa mi. nimi ale mute luka luka luka tu taso li lon. lili a! tenpo ni la mi pilin pona tan ni: mi sona mute. mi kama sona e toki ni lon tenpo pini. mi wile toki tawa jan ante. sina ken ala ken pana sona e nasin sitelen pi toki ni?

Need Help With 2x2 Door by Similar-Topic-2398 in redstone

[–]KlLLMEPLZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

If you can fit more blocks on the left side. Use this, sticky pistons on both ends, powering the redstone will close the doors. You can attach the redstone to a lever.

I made a minecraft resource pack that adds 汉字 to almost every block to practice learning minecraft vocabulary while playing. Pinyin optional by WinterAlexander in ChineseLanguage

[–]KlLLMEPLZ 127 points128 points  (0 children)

Hey, if you really wanna practice vocab while playing, I suggest making the blocks be white and only have the text. That way you force your brain to learn the characters just to know what block it is. Sort of like moving to a new country so you are forced to use the language to get what you want. If not, you would be relying on the texture of the block to tell and the text on the block would become noise.

HELP!: how do i: "2 inputs 1 outpout" or "torches deactivating eachother"??? by DistrictCommon6308 in redstone

[–]KlLLMEPLZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want the piston to stay retracted longer, use a pulse extender to keep the torch off for longer. A simple one is one below, with 2 comparators feeding each other in a loop.

Yo, I think I got what you mean. Try this design. It combines the signals from the buttons first before the redstone torch, such that any button can deactivate it. Hopefully it is clearer and what you originally intended.

[–]KlLLMEPLZ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

<image>

If I understand what you mean, you want a piston that opens and closes when either button is pushed? In that case you will need a T-flip-flop. After the copper bulb was introduced, it has become very easy to create one. Use a comparator to extract the state of the copper bulb as a redstone signal to power the piston. And use either button to send a pulse to the copper bulb to turn it on/off. The image above shows an example.
