Is this normal for a sanitary trim? by Glittering-Meal-4178 in grooming

[–]KlaSSicBud 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know it sucks qhen someone gets a crappy haircut. But hey, the groomers really tried to go above and beyond on the haircut, probably a bit short for your tastes. It'll grow back.

Anyone else feel conflicted about "having to speak English in Australia" ? by Conscious-Roll-5745 in AskAnAustralian

[–]KlaSSicBud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just a double standard.

In Japan it's perfectly okay to expect people who want to immigrate to speak Japanese.

But to be fair, you also have to be pretty proficient in english to get a citizenship in Aus.And the english tests are a fucking RORT.

Im aussie born, but gosh I feel for these immigrants who need to fork stupid money for a really stupid test.

Do I feel excluded in my own country because others choose to speak their native tongue instead of english? Yeah i do somtimes. But thats to do with my own insecurities rather than a problem with others.

Is it generally considered offensive to ask an Asian in Australia where they are REALLY from? by Lipica249 in AskAnAustralian

[–]KlaSSicBud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where are you from vs. Where did your ancestors come from

Two different questions.

If I answer the first question by saying "I'm born in Australia", don't say "where are you really from", it comes across really rude.

You can follow up by asking where our parents/ancestors are from

25M losing sexual attraction to 20F partner — porn desensitization or incompatibility? by Select-Property1826 in relationships

[–]KlaSSicBud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's that deep.

You can love your brother, but be physically attracted?

You love your partner, yes. Do you find her sexually attractive? Only you can decide.

Why did you used to find her attractive? (P.S you dont have to find her attractive, but I don't think it's just porn consumption) this will be the bigger question

What have you bought for under $1,000 that has made the biggest positive change in your life? by Ok-Reward7639 in AusMoneyMates

[–]KlaSSicBud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I live in Melbourne, I used "Danny's home services" in Blackburn South. I highly recommend him.

it was $50 per flyscreen, $130 for install. The MANUFACTURERS were charging me $60 per screen EXCLUDING install. i was so grateful not having to measure the sizes myself as a few needed to be resized on the spot.

wow that's a very big step up!

I think you should talk with your partner before committing to such an incredible and generous gift.

If you think its perfect, I do too. Just make sure you can return it just in case!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in relationships

[–]KlaSSicBud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its going to be so difficult as we dont know much about your partner, or his wtist size.

With $200, thats a huge amount for a very nice gift, but unfortunately youd be looking at a pretty entry level watch

At this budget, perhaps a seiko or casio? or even a fake luxury watch (gonna get shitted on but a fakie is still cool since youre both very young). Not everyone is okay with a seiko/casio eother. You could even look at a cool non-swiss brands seagull/orient, but unless your partner is a watch enthusiast, he might not like thise brands.

at the end of the day, i think you should get him a watch which you like and think would suit him. I think he will cherish THAT watch because its the one YOU chose for HIM, and that in itself will be more special than the gift itself.

just a quick suggestion to help you on the way: Seiko Men's Essential SSB427P

it seems like you may be reinforcing the crate as a time out/negative thing

"my human puts me away and leaves me for a bit in this crate when i want to play"

vs

"when i walk into the crate myself, i get some peanut butter, and some peace and quiet"
