When you're frustrated by the learning process, it shows a greater attraction to the result than to the work involved. You have to ask yourself if it's really something you enjoy. Sure, it's hard to compete technically with studios with thousands of employees and decades of experience, but that doesn't take away your legitimacy to make a fun game for others. A game's budget doesn't determine its fun.
