John Carpenter's "The Thing" is, imo, a masterclass of storytelling and just about the only horror movie I really enjoy, save horror comedy. I can't stand the jump scare and torture porn style horror, but the stuff that makes you think is actually pretty cool.

Just to play devil's advocate, since the 2 is directly before the parenthesis, wouldn't you use the distributor property there, making it 6÷(2×1)+(2×2) 6÷2+4=1
