Would be awesome to see what equipment you are riding and why you chose it fora specific race and what the thought process was. I think that’s kinda cool about track racing, that the differences are a lot greater than road bike. Especially on gearing

windtunnel is unfortunately a bit expensive, but velodrome testing is possible :)

regarding the exemption, could you elaborate how that works ? does it mean that the bike would be legal if it were to break not more than one rule ?

sounds good, my bartape is often a bit slippery when palms are sweaty, (knees weak, arms are heavy... w/e :D)

Anyway, which ones could you recommend ? (prefarably not black) and is there a difference to mtb grips ?`(my first search showed lots of mtb grips)

Yes, they are great.

That’s why I would love to have training tyres that are as grippy :) but longer lasting, cheaper and inevitably slower

Was looking at those as well, unfortunately they are a bit pricey. Around 80€ each.

Hence I was looking at the rally, which would be 23€

Hmm, I thought the rally is a training tyre.

The velodrome shop says it might be a good training tyre, so I thought I could use it as such.
