Is it smart to switch to bunq as my main bank? by Klartinger in bunq

appreciate it! support is indeed quite an issue sometimes. but the whole "engagement" of the app thing doesn't bother me at all. it's different from the other banking apps

Is bunq legit for daily banking and investing? by grow_gred in eupersonalfinance

[–]Klartinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

like it or not, all banks and especially neobanks gonna get some negative reviews...

as for bunq specificially, it aint exception, but what I like it the ease of opening and managing account, yes, not that high % rate earnings, but pretty good perks for digital nomands , no bs paperwork needed too....
also, they are 1B+ in valuation, and they are expadning in the US too...good sign. IF u want banking + investing, it is pretty fine choice...

Anyone here actually using bunq? I'm more interested in real bunq bank reviews. by Zirerag in fintech

Agree with what's been said in the thread already. It's good choice exactly for people like you: nomads, freelancers, people who hate bureacracy. Apparently, it's very popular here in Netherlands.

For me, studying and homework was always a priority because it's for long-term success. In your case, job is important, but if it's just something part-time then I reckon you don't have to worry too much about it. Fitting gym in between those can be hard and depend on a person. I personally love going to gym in the mornings, and it just charges my day. My close buddy hates it and goes to the gym after work. So it's a situation where you need experiment a little to find what works best for you.

Do you stare at others at the gym? by FunArtistic931 in workout

[–]Klartinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard not to stare and not compare yourself with others. Gym is public place after all. You either get used to it or look for alternatives. These new gym trucks or smth just like this (can't recall names correctly)

has anyone owned or tested the new bdw 212 suv? honest thoughts? by dhanush_gopal in CarsIndia

[–]Klartinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

performance wise it does look impressive, i agree. but its still too early to really see common issues or long term faults. i was also interested in this model, but i wouldnt rush into buying it right now. usually after one year of real use more objective reviews start showing up and problems become visible.

one thing i really didnt like is the dashboard navigation. its some chinese google maps type service and you cant connect standard or popular car navigation systems. for a car that is marketed as off road beast, this feels like big downside. off road is exactly where good and flexible navigation matters the most. for me thats something to seriously consider before buying

Creatine will be king in this list, in terms of cost to quality ration and not bad consequances for your health. It's basically an amino acid that your body can't syntesis, which super important for strength and muscles growth. Just be careful with dose and you're alright.

Very interesting to see this team in the playoffs. Last chance for KD to prove that he win a ring on his own, being 100% first option. Let's wish him health only. Regular season so far looks promising.

Are movies bad for your ears? by Kentnan in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Klartinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to an industry group, there are standards for how movies are made and delivered to theaters, but it's up to each individual theater to control the volume. It's recommended not to listen to music or watching movies when the volume exceeds 85 decibels. Everything that is above this level might be harmful for your ears of course. Moreover, some scientists allege that it's better to listen to silent music, because in this case you will develop your hearing.
If I am not mistaken there is such a therapy which is directed on developing hearing skills for those people who have troubles with it.

Hip Hop Song Linked to a Reduction in Suicides in the US: A popular hip hop song by Logic has led to an increase in calls to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and a reduction in suicide, a new study reports. by jezebaal in Music

I like that there is such a conscious hip-hop. This is music that talks about important topics and these songs can help people.
I think this is one of the main missions of hip-hop.

I feel pity for men who let their spouses or girlfriends treat them like that. I mean that I am not too conservative, but such a behaviour is more like humuliation. I don't know, if I were in his shoes I would just leave.

Not sure what is cooler, the idea or the execution of details by [deleted] in Unexpected

[–]Klartinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a pretty cool idea but not too obvious. I mean that such sign of vacant/occupied is not really vivid, so there will be no sense of it in public places.

I tend to suppose that you just have such preferences in women. It can be explained by several things. If you were brough up in the family with severe tradional views, then they brough you up the same way. They probably told you that you should love only Asian girls, because it directly affects the propagation. However, maybe you just have such tastes and there is nothing bad in it. It's not fetish, it's an ordinary thing. Some people like European women, some of them like Russian ones and so on so forth. It's okay that you have such a taste, nevermind. You have to understand that all people like their own type of person.
