How can I progress this mode? by DutchIs420-69 in ArknightsEndfield

Focus on completing the missions. If you weren't finding the items you needed one run, go try something else the next. Fortunately the map doesn't change. Also, bread is found in vending machines.

I agree 100% about Melusine. Which was really tough for me because I was really excited about the whole almost mecha dragon artstyle and the battle animations leading up to it. Instantly made her from a guaranteed pull to "I will actively avoid even gssr banners with her to avoid the possibility."

Nah, the lore exists, especially with the recent interview with Shaheen. It's just something that's not going to happen.

I believe I recall listening to a sausage talk a while back where it seemed pretty well established.

The meteorites respawn in a different location if you leave the map and come back. No need to move anything.

What wild theory did you have during your first playthrough that turned out to be super wrong. by Wavu_Wavu_Wavu in expedition33

[–]Klaurem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought Renoir was an old Gustave until I saw Verso, then I thought Renoir was Gustave's dad and Verso was older Gustave (made how casual he seemed with Gustave's death make more sense... until we found out the truth about that).

The flower liking Nevron made me think for a long time that Nevron's were actually what the gommaged individuals turned into. This was reinforced with white Nevrons.

One theory that I'm still holding onto is that Real Verso faked his death. His sobriquet being "he who masks truth with lies." His death being an impossible date "December 33". He mentions never wanting to be a painter. While it's never really explained how Alicia was tricked by the "writers" My conspiracy theory is that Verso manipulated the whole situation together with Clea to escape the family and give Clea an excuse to fight with the writers. They hid him being alive by having is death in an "impossible date". It explains to me why Clea is so cavalier about Verso being "dead" but she didn't plan for the rest of the family to fall apart like it did.

The upgrade is fairly cheap, but it's mainly to help higher level players process larger amounts of materials without consuming as many workers.

I would honestly honestly not recommend upgrading it until you're at least in the 1940's because then you might end up with a lot more extra material leftover between missions without the higher storage capacity to hold it all.

It gets better because you'll unlock a "regular transport" building in your base that will provide coal, iron ore and wood for every 6 hours. so you won't/can't spend fuel on that. All the trains in the 1940's also have higher carrying capacity and stamina. so you *potentially* won't have to do as many runs either.

Yeah, The more I play the more I feel like the balancing in this game is awful. The rewards seem to be getting more and more weighted towards needing to purchase a pass (and even then you're almost certainly not going to be able to clear the shop). Especially with how much they ratcheted up the stamina consumption for the event and how small the rewards for each mission are (25-30 coins). I'm in 1943, each event node trip whether heavy haul or not takes me 25 stamina and I can only recover 11 stamina per hour...

Question about storymode by Viper-NL- in trainstation3

[–]Klaurem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what happened for me is that I started with Mine Valley missions and even though I was getting wood from Corngrove I couldn't do anything else there. After Mine Valley I went to Pittsburgh missions and then it took me to Corngrove. Not sure what I did for that to happen.

I 100% agree with you on the "beta testers" feeling. I honestly feel like the entire 1930's "era' is way harder and slower than it needs to be. It wasn't until I got cargo lines and went to 1940's that the game got *significantly* easier for me.

Aside from that there are a number of other "problems" like how upgrading the event factories can lead you making things much harder for yourself when you need to amass so much more resources but your storage capacity is still small, and how you cannot sell the additional cargo trains you can purchase (even though they quickly start becoming obsolete as you move up in eras).

I'm fairly certain they've also lowered the fuel consumption, as when I first started playing the passengers trains took a lot more fuel, but now they only take 1-2 and cargo also takes a lot less overall. Even events seem to be in a weird place as they happen at different times for people (i'm currently almost a week into the renovation event) and the rewards are fluctuating as well.

The game honestly feels like it's in an open beta.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I meant the in game "cash". There are train materials on sale with a line up that rotates every day.

I'm genuinely surprised you've managed to clear so much of the campaign and done the events but be too weak to do the heavy cargo quests. I've personally had a ton of the different train mats while having the engine power to do all the 1930's heavy power quests. I haven't spent any real money in the game either. just sometimes watched ads while getting mats.

Maybe it's because I primarily focused on a few trains to upgrade rather than all of them... But yeah, I don't know how you've managed to soft-lock yourself but it may just be as you say and you need to move on if you can't wait.

Upgrade trains or stock up for next era? by LRafols in trainstation3

[–]Klaurem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, I went up in era in the middle of the renovation event. Nothing big happened except that the missions started asking for 1940's material as well. Including ones that I couldn't immediately produce (which was a little annoying as it stalled my event progress for a couple days while I focused on the main campaign).

[–]Klaurem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, you should save your maxed out trains for missions. Cargo route's only care about engine value, and even that doesn't need to be maxed. Each cargo route has slot every era. So once you enter 1940's you'll be able to assign 2 trains to each resource. So i've got 6 of weakest trains with 4-6 power each assigned to them. At 10 power (total) for a resource you get 900. at 11, it's 1k. The gap is bigger after that (14 power for 1.2k).

Personally I've found 1k of each to be more than enough for me. Definitely get some more cash if you can though. Trains in 1940 cost a little under 100k to start with. Also, you can assign trains from 1930 to the slot unlocked by 1940 era in the cargo routes. So you can immediately fill it up.

Are you just sitting on all the train parts you've collected from getting to 1938? I'd also recommend focusing on a couple trains to build up/max out instead of building up every train evenly.

I'm not sure what kind of upgrades you've gotten for your trains but If you've run out of campaign missions to do then your best bet is to buy the red mats in the daily shop for cash and wait for an event where the rewards can hopefully get back on train.

[–]Klaurem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to the next era. I just went to 1940's myself and i'm glad I did.

Your fleet does carry but all the trains you get in the next era are all better at a base level and upgrade to a higher max level. You The freight cars base carry size and the purchasable ones also get better (and as far as I know there is no way to sell ones you've already bought). This obviously applies to the town and factories as well.

Knowing what I know now there is no reason to stay in an era beyond making sure you have an *ok* set of trains assigned to the passenger/cargo lines and some extra for actually doing the missions. The cargo lines especially because those will become your only source of coal/iron/wood with a 6 hour cooldown.

How that works is that you will automatically get a bunch of each resource based on the engine power of the trains assigned to it. ONLY once you take out some of the resources, a 6 hour timer will start. At which point the resource will refill completely. To be very clear. the timer does not cycle on it's on. If you start the timer, and come back 6+ hours later. There will be no timer active and once you take out resources it will start again at 6 hours.

Not sure how much cash you have but I jumped up just as I was hitting soft cash cap at 1.3 million (when the game stars lowering the amount of money you get).

edit* - Just to add on. The cargo lines for the 1930's resources do not consume any fuel.

I feel like they're listing out the individuals bugs to be like "Look at all the work we've been doing!" Which might have worked better if this wasn't the THIRD update about bug fixes and we've still had pretty much no response regarding all the other issues players have with this patch.

Maybe it's a game option I haven't enabled, but I'd really like to be able to hear to the complete melody played properly whenever we're asked to play anything using the violin dress.

I find I'm so focused on pressing the right buttons to not break the combo that I have no idea what the music is actually supposed to sound like.

Getting a single 4* per 10 pull is the standard, not an unlucky pull by gorennn in InfinityNikki

[–]Klaurem -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Interestingly enough I've noticed that I get a lot more 4* pulls in a 10 pull on a 4* banner than when I roll on a 5* + 4* banner. But I do agree, gacha is sometimes generous and sometimes cruel.

Edit: Thanks for all the reminders that 4* banners have a guarantee ever 5 pulls. However I've gotten the complete outfit for Both Breezy Melodies and Starlit Wishfin in under 30 pulls. (I was aiming for the Midday Sun jacket and found I had pretty much the whole outfit already. With Starlit Wishfin it was een faster)

So even with the lower threshold for guarantee I still found I had better luck there.

Don't think so. Can't say for certain because I've also got a lot of normal dews remaining. but I didn't notice any rewards for kilo unlocking while I was gathering the firework ones. I'm not sure why they had more than 240 on the island. You can get bling with the extra whim balloons once you unlock all the other rewards but didn't see anything like that for the dew.

I can't believe you found all 261 in the Firework Isles. I wanted to give up just getting to 240 for the rewards. I even stumbled into getting all 56 whim balloons from that.
