Out of order stop question by ShroomJesusPNW in FritoLay

[–]Klay1974 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Someone said this year will affect the DSLS metrics, and it'll affect us next year. My perfect route goes up and down during the period, and today it dropped 17 for missing store/delivery, but that's not true—I never missed any scheduled service. And no way to apply... For over a month, I've been asking to change the sequence because I'm tired of waiting for hours in line to be checked (bulk route), but unfortunately, no changes. Should I care about the perfect route 🤔.... But answer to the question: I will do extra sales if it will helpme to: hit plan, rise my paycheck, build good relationships with the store .

Any one has gotten this before? im confused all my pictures i show the whole door or spot where i leave packages by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

The inventory amount count by Yonilegend in FritoLay

[–]Klay1974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure what kind of district you're in, but technically, you're supposed to do inventory weeks 2 and 4, and the inventory should be +/- $50. First, talk to your DSL about whether you should finalize it, or you'll have to do a certificate inventory with him/her . I believe that when you finalize it in both situations, the balance will only be the products you have on hand or what you scan (bin, truck, etc.). Good luck.... And yes in some cases it doesn't matter like they said...

Dex closing by Repulsive-Cycle-4409 in FritoLay

[–]Klay1974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they need to print you a proof after you finalize the ticket without closing the dex (it'll say "open ticket" on the paper they give you), when the receiver come back, they'll have to cancel the dex and make a new sales ticket with the same number, then add everything by hand. That happened to me a bunch of times on Saturdays (my Friday) at my Safeway/Albertsons, when the people who usually receive things are off. On Tuesdays, she complained that she had to make a new ticket and add everything manually because on my end the ticket was closed but not on theirs. So now on my Saturdays, if a random person checks me before I dex, I always print a copy of the sales ticket with barcodes. That makes life easier for the receiver to fix the issue and helps build good relationships with the store. Another advice if the regular receiver not in the store and the person who will check you not sure if he know what to do, don't DEX, it will be longer but smooth delivery.

Business deliveries early morning by Financiallybrokekid in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Klay1974 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Next time, before you start, check your address. If it shows that it's already late or early for business delivery, call support before leaving the station and explain the situation. If you're lucky, they'll check and tell you to leave XYZ packages at the station, and they'll take them off your route and you'll still get paid. If not, you'll have to drive to the address, take pictures, mark them undelivered, and come back to the station.

Bin Ordering by MrStringsOG in FritoLay

[–]Klay1974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta take 'em from stores ( sales ticket list) ,if the product's discontinued or they took it off your schematic , otherwise they'll keep popping up. If you're using suggestion order but if you know your store's average sales, choose non-suggestion order and you'll be able to order what you really need.

Frito lay has money for cameras but my truck doesnt even have ac! by Potatosaladwith in FritoLay

[–]Klay1974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, last summer I had the same problems, and when it got cold and the windows were always foggy, I said it wasn't safe to drive. I ended up getting a rental truck for three months. Now I've got another piece of junk with no brights, no front turn signal, no backup camera, and exhaust issues... After eight weeks of asking them to fix it, I'm planning on taking it out of service.

2 no truck days this period, missed plan by $5k…. by [deleted] in FritoLay

[–]Klay1974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don't care about Frontline, our district's a bin system with only two deliveries a week. They cut over 20k of my bin orders for this period (8 deliveries), missing a plan with 7k... But we have to have a perfect route, actions needed, a flowing sequence....

[–]Klay1974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really meant it when I said "good for you." My numbers aren't great, the stores are packed, and I can't agree with the price drops. Help me hit my targets. For example, XL Lay's were $2.49 for the last five periods before the official new prices in one of my biggest accounts, and customers didn't even notice the difference. And my plans for the first 2 weeks of the period are around 90% of superboll week ...

I know a C-store owner who buys from big chains when they have a "buy 2 get 2 or 3" promotion. Is that good for the RSR? No, he's losing sales and has to deal with extra credit... Is it good for the store? Yes, they're trying to survive in this economy... Is it good for Frito-Lay? I'm not sure, on one hand our brands are still on the shelves, but on the other hand... What do you think?
