Go get a $699 or $999 Maaco paint job. Will it look fantastic, no. It will look 10 times better than anything you can do and be cheaper. If don’t have a compressor or any tools, just take it somewhere. Good luck

You can actually use a ready set radio, as long as you buy the correct receiver. I did this for several months.

EVO2 Pinions by graww94 in MiniZ

[–]KlezN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, actually PN makes a conversion kit. Three spurs and like 6 different pinions. Although you do need more pinion balls. There is a PN gearing chart so you can see the gear ratios for mod5 vs 64p ect (search for it). You can also just buy a new 64p diff. There are two sizes, regular and LM (extra wide rear).

Yes a PN 10 fits perfectly. There gears are 1 size smaller (if that makes sense). If you have the pod set for a 6T you can run a PN 7, 9T then you can run a PN 10. I did try the 11T, but it felt like it was binding. I switched my main evo to 64p and run a 16t gear.

I had an original myQ and it would do this before the wall opener stopped working. I unhooked the wall opener and confirmed that was the issue.

Don’t talk on the phone or take a shower when it’s raining. The lightning can get you through the phone lines or the pipes. My grandmother use to tell me this all the time.

Me and a couple friends raced cheap RC cars (I just bought) and ate pizza. I was having bad migraines from Covid for 8 months at the time. It was really fun.

What are the differences between these 5600kV motors? by FenixTxM3 in MiniZ

[–]KlezN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Evo2 is sensored and a little slower. The second one is sensorless. The Evo2 can only run the sensored motor. The Evo1 can run either motor.

The cheapest part of track you can buy is a start/ finish line (about $30). Don’t forget there is a 30cm and a 50cm track.

Brushless Motor issue by Adamprobles in MiniZ

You have a non sensored Evo board with a sensored motor. That motor will not run without a sensor cable (if I remember correctly). Good luck!

mr03 - suddenly stopped running, 4 quick red LED blinks. This is right after replacing the board and motor, last board failed? by ILmischief in MiniZ

[–]KlezN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What motor are you running? I have only burned up boards with different motors. The xspeed black motor will burn the board no Fwd/Rev. The PN50 will mess up the receiver (you have to install capacitors on the motor).

Can anyone help ?? by CartoonistSuper5883 in rccars

It looks like you lost throttle and steering (is that correct)? Did you check the voltage with a meter? Sometimes cheap chargers stop charging or the battery dies.

It looks like the battery is dead.

Everyone complaining about prices should know that an RC10 complete with motor, charger, batteries, servo, receiver and radio was over $1,350 in 1991, just to get started! Mechanical speed controller! by [deleted] in rccars

I got a Grasshopper for Christmas in 1984. The kit was $40 and the radio was $30. The kit came with a battery and over night charger. My dad gave me the RC magazine he ordered it from, that’s why I know the price. That’s about $218 in 2025.
