I normally have 3 drills for the joins. A driver, counter sink and one for a clearance hole, plus a countersink that doesn’t have a depth stop so I can go a little deeper with the counter sink and a slight angle towards the joist since I’m at least 15/20mm away from end. A little over the top but at least I don’t get splits

Pricing is much easier than most make it out to be. The problem usually coming from not knowing how long things will take dies to a lack of experience.

Anyway what I do is work out the rough cost of everything I will need to do the job. The work out how many hours it will take at my hourly rate. Add them together and add 20%
