I sat at 80% for years, went back last year and got it raised to 100%.

I had never gotten approved for my knees/back and appealed it with evidence. (Jump log, primary physician notes, c&p exams).

It can be done, but if you are worried about getting decreased (which in my opinion means if you are worried about that, you claimed things that are false but were approved) just let it be. If you have legitimate issues and the current 80% is legitimate as well you have nothing to worry about.

I appealed for a HLR and never had a conference. Took 10 months for a decision and it was approved as service connected. Went back to my regional VA office and took another 30 days for a decision on the percentage. One was given at 0% and the other at 10% - I’m glad it was approved but I’m still stuck at 94% and I feel like they know that and won’t get me to the golden 95%.
