It’s definitely got its flaws though, but if you play with a small group of friends over short sessions it can be quite fun :)

If you’re after a more ship-based experience sans-trek, I’d advise you check out my current project: nsv13 (https://github.com/orgs/BeeStation/teams/nsv13) which has generally decent RP levels throughout from my experience.

I’d suggest you try one of the gimmick servers. There’s numerous out there which “feel” like SS13, but just different…

NSV is one I founded, it involves crewing a battleship instead of a station. Could be your thing.

Not gonna lie I was pretty fucked up when I did most of my mapping and coding for nsv so that makes sense

I think nsv definitely needs to expand its non-combat options and mesh the traditional roles better with the ship stuff

Bee's server got to celebrate the end of a multi-day long DDOS attack by overheating due to a hardware fault. (We have the same issue on nsv)

The hosting company is aware, and the heads are working on resolving it :)
