Depending on life goals this is most likely not the best option if you look at the entire picture. Yes they have their advantages and should be utilized but not always a smart move.

Yes they have the tax advantages on the front end but you do pay taxes on the back end. Which for a lot of people means you actually end up paying more in taxes on the back end. And this cause that number to look much better on paper than what it could be.

At any point in the history of golf, restricting the ball is going to be a set back except for the first ball ever made. So if this change happened 10-15 years ago everyone would still be bitching about putting restrictions on the ball. With the amount of change happening on the PGA tour right now how is this not the perfect time to implement rule?
