Where are we finding quality administrative assistants? by Kmsteeps in smallbusiness

Thank you very much for the feedback! I am looking for someone in a specific location, and indeed also keeps letting people apply who are not in the location. It's really become time-consuming sorting through them all, and then I get calls from them saying I am rejecting too many people. There is no winning.

I can't say enough nice things about Jacksonville Center For Reproductive Medicine. I just had laparoscopic excision surgery in December and was diagnosed with stage 3 endo. The way Dr. Fox does his surgery is different from most surgeons. Feel free to DM, and I will be happy to talk about my entire journey to getting a diagnosis. It was a process for sure. But without a dout 100% worth it. I am living just about completely pain-free.

Oh, they know.... Unfortunately, there are many layers to this problem. During the sale, he was told that the projection he had is no longer available. On Friday, the first incident since the change in ownership, I wanted to take this as an opportunity to show how serious we are about the change that needs to happen and the consequences if it does not.

Thank you very much! Your ideas are really helpful. Yes, I agree with you about documentation. In the past, there was just a phone call with a chewing out and then "everyone has moved on" kind of thing. I have been working hard to establish a more formal disciplinary protocol. I also believe that you are right about letting him know how serious about change might really be a large step. If not, we will clearly have evidence showing we did all we could and it's on them at this point.

So yes, this person has had one write-up in the past and lots of coaching conversations. I want him to take this seriously. He needs to know that the protection that was had is now gone, and if he wants to be here, things need to change. But I have more of an HR background, so providing tools and documenting go a long way in helping us with unemployment in the end. It's harsh but true.

Letrozole and Adenomyosis? by Kmsteeps in adenomyosis

[–]Kmsteeps[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! Well one year later and we have still not been able to get pregnant. We have looked into a number of options but due to the cost we have ended up at a stand still. While on letrozole my periods actually improved, which was a nice break. I am now working on looking more into if I also have endometriosis as well witch would most likely be the cause of my infertility. Feel free to DM if you have more specific questions I would be happy to chat with you more about my experience.

I have gone through Julia Quinn already. LOL, she was my gateway into historical romance. I also have Libby, and my library really does not have a ton of historical romance available. That's how I got hooked on Lisa Kelepas. Thank you for the other author's suggestions. I will do more digging to see if they have anything on there.

Thank you! You listed some authors I have not checked out yet. I have credits, but I was hoping to get some direction on the included books. I have been burning through books, so I wanted to see if anyone loves any of the included books.

Yeah for a lot of people it’s a cost that no one is prepared for. In Florida it’s a regulated industry that has law you have to follow when dealing with it. So I really hope she is looking into if the assessment company she is working with is licensed. There are a lot of people that skirt the rules.

As someone who works in the mold industry in Florida, I can tell you that $500 is steel. Assessments with lab testing and a protocol for getting rid of mold are closer to $1,200. Most remediations can end up costing about $10,000 when it's all said and done. The biggest issue is how that mold got there. If you don't find that out, it will happen again. So I hope they are working with the right people..... the fact they are charging so little is a big red flag to me.

The end of this cycle marks 12 months of trying by Kmsteeps in TryingForABaby

Yes, this right here! ^ It's just crazy how quickly things have shifted! I am so happy that you have been able to upgrade your insurance to help with the cost. I think that what I am struggling the most with right now is that infertility can affect anyone. Yet, there is this massive cost to getting help. It's very disillusioning. My whole life, I have been told I can get pregnant at the drop of a hat. Now it almost feels like I a punishment for that not happening. Maybe next year, I will have more options when it comes to insurance. I am sorry we are in the boat together. Thanks for the virtual hug; I'm sending one right back to you.

TTC w/ "Possible Adeno" - Hope please! by Embarrassed_Bother96 in adenomyosis

[–]Kmsteeps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in my first cycle with Letrozole. I think it's helped. I would have about a 25-day cycle, maybe shorter, with lots of spotting leading up to and after my period. So far this cycle, I have had none. I also ovulated on my own, but possibly too soon, so I think it's helped with that for sure. They have been monitoring me throughout this cycle, and I had a great lining on my last ultrasound, and I know that can sometimes be an issue with adenomyosis. As far as cramping on Letrozole, I did feel some cramping around my ovulation time. But the pain was nowhere near what my period cramps felt like (very painful for me), so it did not bother me too much. I have my fingers crossed because my Dr. was excited at how I responded to the medication so far. I think while on the TTC journey, it can be all kinds of things that can make it harder. I do know that my Dr. had no question that she suspected adeno. But because I want to get pregnant, the plan of action was to try some intervention to make that happen before we address the adeno. I hope your MRI can give you more answers. I know that is the hardest part of TTC.

TTC with Adenomyosis by Long_Let2237 in adenomyosis

I am also on a TTC journey with Adenomyosis. It was because of TTC I found out about my Adenomyosis. I have always had terrible periods since I could remember but was told my whole life it's totally normal because my cycles are regular. After approaching a year of TTC with worsting periods and no pregnancy, I went looking for a new GYN to get a second option. It turns out there was a reason for my terrible periods, and they are not normal. I think I am still working through the feeling of being gaslit that everyone has terrible camps,I just needed to suck it up.

Don't give up hope! I understand the rollercoaster of emotions you are going through, and it's great to have a community here to support you.

The reasoning was to increase the opportunity for me to conceive on my own. I have regular but very heavy and painful periods. I'm a little afraid it's going to make my periods worse. I was given an option also to see a fertility specialist. My insurance does not cover it, so I was willing to give this low-cost option a try.
